My only complaint, is the laser ethching on my metric is almost completely gone after 2 years, which is something I wish Tekton would address.
I’d stop in. What’s the worst that happens is nothing but you may find they have a will call desk inside for pickup.I live about a mile from the Tekton facility. Been by it many times. Would love it if I could just go there and pick-up my orders.
I sent an email asking just that. I guess we'll see if I get a reply.I’d stop in. What’s the worst that happens is nothing but you may find they have a will call desk inside for pickup.
I ordered the plier divider a while back and so far I like it. I also have a SAE and Metric set of impacts. I’ll admit I use my metric 90% of the time and these SAE sets hardly get used. I just ordered a Tekton tool stamping set to address the issue. Not 100% sure how I feel abou it, the fact that I needed a stamping set due to a manfacturing failure, or the fact that the stampng set (I ordered) is made in China. Being honest . . . but perfer my tools made in one of three places: USA, Taiwan, or Japan.

I don't know when they started also stamping the sizes on the impact sockets, but it's been several years. You can verify by looking at their website as they show this
Dang, good point Steve, I forgot to consider that. But I only paid $5 bucks for the stamping set on FB Marketplace, so if they don’t work, I don’t have much invested.Sockets are most likely heat treated after they roll-stamp the numbers into them. So, I'm thinking that this attempt may not work very well. You should be able to get a mark, but I doubt it will be deep, and I doubt the stamps will last long.
Edit- the sockets are most likely going to be over Rc50, and the stamps aren't going to be much higher.
For US stamps, I have Young Brothers. Which I'm sure cost several times what the Chinese ones cost. But I still wouldn't expect them to do this successfully.

L-Boxx system is great, latches are fine on all the ones I’ve used. Presumably the tekton flavour of L-box is the same as all the others.I know there are a few threads discussing these already, but I have to say my initial impression is “meh.” Quality doesn’t seem to be that great with those plastic latches and handles, and the price . . . thats the I don’t want to sell any price.
Made in Germany, I think its a hard pass on this one. . .
