I got the clearance impact, but couldn't find any batteries when I was looking. Hell I dunno where the clearance shelf even is in my HD.
Usually and end cap on the end of the hardware aisle thats where mine is at my store.I got the clearance impact, but couldn't find any batteries when I was looking. Hell I dunno where the clearance shelf even is in my HD.
At the top of the ryobitools.com website, click the picture (link) that says "New Lithium+HP 6AH Battery. A new page will load showing the increased tool use for different tools *and* an upcoming offer to buy two of the new 6AH batteries for a "spacial" price from Home Depot.
Actually, these new batteries are going to be a big deal if they perform as described!

I stopped by my local HD and asked about availability for the new Ryobi 6AH battery twin pack. Apparently there's still no firm release date. I'm watching this closely because I'm going to be all over these new batteries as soon as they drop!
the new ryobi 6ah batteries showed up in stores today. Picked up a twin pack!

Hi all, does anyone have a ryobi 18v brushless chainsaw? what are they like, good or bad.
I have one of the first models with out a chain brake, the chain speed is so slow so that it doesnt need a chain brake, not sure of the speed but its pretty useless.
Looking at selling the old one (only used twice) and buying the brushless which has a 9m per second chain speed this is up there with other makes, I already have lots of ryobi 18v batteries so I would prefer to go with them.
Thanks in advance.
Can't speak to the brushless, but wanted to see if you'd tried one of the 4.0AaH batteries in your older chainsaw?
I've got two of the original blue ones, and while I never had an issue with NiCad performance (save short life), the 4.0aH Lithium-Ion batteries really woke it up, and I've found them far from useless.
Had a $50 HD gift card from Christmas that I hadn't used yet, and I had an outdoor project coming up.
I had a 4-D cell caulking gun that really didn't work all that well, and absolutely ATE the batteries. Soooooo I checked on-line at Ryobi.
Sure enough:

Worked pretty good too, even on my old black/yellow batteries.
If anything, the caulk came out TOO fast........

Anybody have the ryobi transfer pump. How well does it work? I was thinking about getting one to use to pump water from a rain barrel to a garden.
I see Home Depot has Ryobi 9.0ah battery/charger kits on their site, not available yet. $179 seems a bit steep for Ryobi, even the Milwaukee 9.0/rapid charger kit is $169.

Any extra thoughts on the chemical sprayer? I’m getting really tired if using my little one gallon pumpers, but the constant running air pump I hear in YouTube reviews of the Ryobi is kind of a turn off. How loud is the little thing? Seems like the convenience could outweigh the annoying sound.
