Looking for a mower. Anyone have experience on the Ryobi rider mowers? Good, bad, worth it or money better spent elsewhere?

Just picked up this P262 Impact wrench. I have not used it yet but I suspect at 600-Ft-LBS of torque I will like it better than my Chordless Craftsman rated at 300 Ft-LBS. I think it is pretty good option for the price point and it will work with my current array of batteries.

My only disappointment is the hog ring socket retainer make it hard to install and remove sockets. I assume it will wear in and become less of a chore.

I have the 1/2" and 3/8" impact wrenches. I find them very useful for construction driving lags or using bit sockets, especially the 3/8". Haven't had to take off wheels yet with the 1/2"

Are you talking about the DeWalt kit? I have that set if so I haven't used the half inch either LOL the 3/8 seems nice though, I like how the charger has a fan in it.

I'd say that hog ring would probably wear down a little bit, can't you file it ever so slightly?

Ryobi has these two four Mah batteries and charger with a (some) free tools, for $99.00.

I sure wish they included that impact.

Just got that on the free tool deal. Used it a couple times. Two days ago I used it with a wire wheel to clean up some steel pipe. Today I used it with a diamond concrete cutter to prepare about 25 feet of cracks in my driveway for crack sealer. I love it. It'll do everything I'm going to ask of it. I'm going to pick up another one.

You can't put a cut off wheel on that grinder too correct?

You can put a cut off wheel in the right angle grinder. Just make sure you have the correct arbor size.

Unfortunately that deal does not offer me anything I am interested in. None of the tools offered are brushless. Last ime tI looked anyway.

Yeah I hear you I wish they would offer even the 300-ft pound half inch drive impact I might bite on it.
I mean for $100 even with the half inch impact that does have brushes I think it would serve my brother well for his needs I want to get it for him for his birthday.

That brushless impact sounds really nice!

Yes, I like them both. Ryobi has the same parent company as Milwaukee so I figure that counts for something. The 3/8 has a hog ring anvil and the 1/2 has a single ball detent anvil.

I got that p262, it was nice for its price, already use it on replacing the both struts on my toyota Sienna and it went thru those bolts that hold the disk rotor with ease, really happy with its performance, definitely recommend it and also use the older 4amps battery.

Just got probably the third 40-volt charger replacement from Ryobi. As near as I can tell, their customer service is not super picky about the time you've had it and will replace a charger at least once. This is important for yard tools used only 4-5 months a year and the battery and charger sits on the shelf the rest of the time. How a charger goes bad sitting on the shelf is still difficult to understand.

The 40-volt leaf blower has a weak point where the handle meets the body. Most of them will break there eventually.

I have the 1/2" brushed impact and love it. It's not a 1" 1200ft/lb monster and if you remember that while using it you'll love it. It has loosened most things on the farm that I've pointed it at.

I think I paid $129 for it with a 4ah battery when it was first available. Not a bad deal by any means.

I've started getting into Ryobi late last year. They have a nice adjustable temperature soldering station (P3100) but the footprint was a bit much so I made 3d printable pieces to let it work better while standing vertically.

Because the footprint is so large, I made these for using the solder station in a vertical orientation. It basically swaps around the spare tip pocket and the sponge pocket. I have a pocket for spare tips and a pocket for the sponge. The sponge tray holder pulls out (for me) for easy sponge...

I started into some ryobi tools lately. They've got some offerings others don't have and for what I do, and for the price, they'll work just fine. I picked up the two battery deal with an air compressor. I use the hell out of that little thing.

Got an 18v fan today. Can't wait to try it out at work tomorrow.

A couple weeks ago I got an adapter on eBay for Milwaukee batteries to ryobi. Works well.

Im sorta into Ryobi tools. I have over 17 power tools. Always looking to add more to the collection. I have no issues with any of my ryobi tools. Ive even bought a few refurbished tools with no problems. My impact driver was refurbished. Its been put through the ringer on the reg. Its still trucking.
