I dumped a rotobin similar to the one you have... was not useful to my limited space and tetris philosophy ... Got it from a road maintenance department that serviced county snow plows etc...

I haven't been able to get much done at the shop, been helping the GF with a project,

Do you have any idea how GREAT that statement is... helping your GF is worth far more than a huge day of completed tasks to serve ones self. -CONGRATS-

95% sure I have the temporary stockroom layout figured out. Going to mess with it tomorrow afternoon, rather than go and look at another project. If you guys don't see pictures by tomorrow night, give me hell. If you see another suburban........, well kick my ***.

Swapping drawers around once again, I think this will be the last time that I have to move the drawers, for today. :willy_nil

Got the drawers all swapped, still have an overabundance of leftover drawers, but I can deal with that for now.

Will have to start moving things from the stockroom shelves over to the drawers tomorrow. I am at a good stopping point for tonight, see you all tomorrow and I hope you have a safe and happy Fourth of July.

Spent a hour on my hands a knees searching through the grass for that stupid guide bushing on top of the sliding doors. They disappear quickly. Finally gave up and called Lista for a replacement.

FYI = the part number is A104542.

The warehouse is closed this week for inventory, so it won't ship until next week. Ordered 2, just in case I'm an idiot again. $5+ plus shipping. Those little buggers aren't expensive, but they ain't cheap either. Keep a close eye on them when you take the doors off the cabinet.

Strouty - I think I figured out the door issue. We were removing them assbackwards.

Removal
Slide both doors to one side.
Remove two of the screws holding the top guide.
Slide the doors to the other side.
Remove the other two screws holding the top guide.
Slide the doors to the middle.
Tip the doors and the guide out from the top.
Remove the top guide. (watch for falling guide bushings. See post above)
Lift doors off lower guide and set aside.

Instalation
Install shelves and lower guide parts.
Reverse the removal instructions, placing roller bearings on the proper rails.
(don't forget to install the top guide bushings before putting the top guide on)

The screws for the top guide thread into an L bracket that floats in the frame of the case. To remove or reinstall them, they slide to the middle of the case and in/out of a cutout.

I won't be installing my doors until the replacement guide bushing shows up next week. So, TAG, your the Guinea Pig. Good luck, let me know if I was right.

That sounds like it would work, will try it on the next cabinet.

Today's meeting took way longer than expected, so I headed home, will be at the shop tomorrow.

The best way to keep yourself from buying another suburban is to take the one you just bought for a 10 mile ride to be impressed with it again.
I'm pretty much a black pot hollering at a kettle though. I went and looked at a 68 Cadillac Eldorado a few weeks ago. In my defense, I was only 1.5 miles away from it for work. I did not buy it, but it took looking over several of my project cars to get excited about them again to really get the caddy out of my brain.

I talked myself out of wasting time looking at another project suburban. I need to concentrate on the new cabinets, going to pull them all apart and pressure wash them, tomorrow is supposed to rain. I am also going to start the stockroom shuffle.

Just what I need, a cookie.

The robin, or northern thrush, never came back after the last move, so I am now going to remove the nest.

I have to move a few cabinets around and get started on disassembling all the ones that need to be cleaned. I will try and use Jakemac's method and see how it works.

Trying to take things one step at a time and not get myself overwhelmed. If I can get all the cabinets cleaned by the end of the weekend I will be very happy.

See, your body has rejected a "healthy" regiment. Time to go back to junk. You'll shed that dead weight in no time.

I keep my svelte physeek by rolling down the window of my truck and yelling a number at a microphone. Saves me all that time washing those nasty dishes. :lol_hitti

Had a buddy over yesterday and a paid plumber... asked if they wanted lunch... I figured I would buzz over to Mcdonalds... suggested it... said I would buy out their $1 menu...

I did...

Placed an order for $20 worth of $1 and $2 items... the two guys ate the whole bag while I a1e carrots and spinach/garlic dip made with yogurt... Mind you... I love carrots and spinach dip.

*- sigh -*

I guess I have big bones.

I may be un-help-able seems like I am out of sync with reality. I need to do something, but I have actually done nothing since arriving, that was at 10:15 this morning, so two hours wasted so far. I looked at my stockroom drawings from yesterday and tried to adjust them again, but it made things worse. I guess I just need to do something.

I think this time, it is the fact that I have spent too much time analyzing and just need to do something. I am going to eat and then get to it. I have a small plan.

move all extra Lista drawers out to conex

move cabinet that has damage outside with other damaged one

place desiccant packs in each drawer of both cabinets

tarp both for longer term outdoor storage

move out of the way

There is a thing called Analysis Paralysis ... get out of the wheel chair and Just do... or do not... but to be done... you must do first... then you will be done. Just thinking about it... only burns calories... doesn't get anything done.

Yes, that is my issue.

I have cleaned a bit, need to get the cabinets shuffled a bit, then I can really start to get things done.

Amazing how easy stuff can be moved when it is set up for a pallet jack.

I almost have those four shelves unloaded, funny how when you have less to move it is harder to do. Almost everything fit in the one cabinet, just a few things that are odd shaped and sized won't fit. When the storage wall unit is designed, I can add fixed shelves and pull out shelves as needed, so this won't be an issue for the final setup. I figure it will be this winter before I even get started on the new stockroom, that way I have time to decide what works and what doesn't. I would hate to spend a lot of money and have things not work for me, kind of like what I have been doing over the last 10 years. :willy_nil

So, simple project, pressure wash the cabinets, WRONG.

First I had to rewire my RV panel so I could use the plug on the end of the unit.

Second, no pressure, nothing, not even a drip. So I am currently researching what needs to be done. Not thrilled, but I guess I need to learn about the unit anyways.

Oh, I never thought of that (said with deep sarcasm).

It has no flow, so far I have checked the pick up tube and screens, seems to be no clogs. I am going to do a few more tests, but I am running out of energy fast. I honestly know nothing about these things, so I guess I will have to do some learnin.

Yes, Alkota 3242 Electric powered, diesel fired hot water pressure washer.

Pump turns, no sucking sounds, soap if off, no leaks, water is flowing to sump, does not seem to ever make it to pump.

It's not priming... I get that when my incoming pressure is low... but you have a heated sump... so ... ****... that ain't it.

Have never worked with a pressure pump that sucked ... I have only played with ones that had the water "delivered"... ie, self priming.

Cheap PWs can get vapor lock if the incoming is too low or if there is air in the incoming hose... but that usually resolves itself when the water pushes itself thru and is caught by the pump...

Sorry ... I'm talking this out... it's how I solve things...

So if your pump aint getting it... it's not sucking... "lack of prime"

Yeah, never had to prime it before. I am going to try and force feed it water first.
