Sounds like you guys are going to get some snow Saturday into Sunday, so just in time.

It does look that way, then the cold temps are setting in, so this stuff will be here for a while. I hope to have the Salvage Garage wrapped up Friday and then I can do some things at the Hill on Saturday, only time will tell.

Strouty, I have a plan. It shouldn't cost you more than $1-$2k. You get your storage system all worked out and set up, then have a vehicle stripping party one weekend. You supply the food and beverages (nothing adult served before 6pm). Then a full day at the camp for everyone who worked. I figure you'd get 4 to 6 of us, plenty to keep you busy putting things where they belong. If Pines shows up, you'd need to supply a lady or 6 for his company.

And you guys would be proud of me, I passed on a truck that I looked at this morning.

Now I am off to get the bed slide, then I am going to the Cheesecake Factory for a late lunch. After that I am supposed to move some stuff at the SG with my Brother, but I won’t be able to get great pictures, it will be dark already. :(

I think the new rack system, in conjunction with the Wall of Lista is the answer to a lot of your issues. Not having a good storage system causes big problems. Getting things properly set up relieves huge amounts of heartburn. Something needs to be set up at both the SG, and the Hill so you're not wasting time running back and forth. I know, easier said than done.

Vidmar awaits…

I am outside in the fog, sweating my balls off, it is like 45 with 120% humidity and my t-shirt wasn’t enough, and my sweatshirt is too much, plus I changed over to my thicker socks since it has been chilly.

But he won’t remember which one has that part, and will pull the wrong burb out. Forcing him to go back for seconds.

I hate snow. Let the day begin, picking up a friend so we can shuffle a couple things and then he is taking the white 454 Burb, one down, 12 or so to go?

The white 454 burb is headed to its new home, sad and glad at the same time.

I have parked a few more trailers, got the loader moved over a bit so it is more in the middle, then the saddle shop trailer is next to that so I have full access to the doors. I am going to move the FWD in front of the loader, shouldn't stick out much past the saddle shop trailer, this will make snow removal easier. I want to load up some of the bulky scrap steel and get it to the scrap yard, once that is done, I can finish moving everything with Clark and get that loaded to go back to the Hill tonight. Benson is going inside, but I am waiting until dark to deal with that, no sense and wasting good daylight. No drone pictures today, it is really windy and I don't want to have an incident......

Loading up the scrap now, got Guido stuck on the gravel. :( It was uphill a bit and I spun the tires. Once I move the trailer out, I think I can back it out, but right now it is kind of Austin Powers style.

I thought the plan was to flip the saddle shop trailer. 🤷‍♂️ You’ve got the new crane just pick that forklift up. 😃

Plans don’t seem to work on my end.

Guido is too heavy for the track crane to pick.

I am currently fighting the camper for control over Perk, it won’t let go of the fifth wheel yet. :(

Thanks Bob, I am going to be working until midnight probably, temps are still up and I have some willing help. My GF has to work until 10, so it wasn’t like we had plans, just another day is the best way to describe it. I figure I am at my halfway point, 45. ;)

As for the saddle shop and the eBay setup, you are thinking about the blue box trailer, it was setup like an office and was used as a live production studio for sporting events. Just one more thing to do….,

I got my scrap dropped off, they had a shiny bit, my Buddy tried to sell it to me, but I didn’t bite. I told him I would be interested in the tires and a couple other trinkets if they part it out.

For tonight’s agenda, I am helping another Buddy move some non running trucks into his shop, then we are going to the Salvage Garage to move stuff around inside so that I can make enough room to put Benson and Guido inside, it is going to be tight and I may have to temporarily move some Lista cabinets around to make more room. Then I need to strap Clark down and haul it back to the Hill for tomorrow’s escapade. Should be an interesting evening to say the least.

Happy birthday, Sir. You celebrate it like most responsible people do, another long day of the grind. Good luck, and stay strong. I hope things go smooth and productive for the next year. Just don't hold your breath.

Happy Birthday, hopefully it is as productive as you hoped it would be. Sometimes that the best birthday present, getting something done that you wanted to do!
