It is just a crappy boat, I didn’t take any pictures, didn’t want proof I had anything to do with it. It had a 5 flat plug, I didn’t have an adapter, luckily I brought my temporary lights and some electrical tape, 10 minutes and I had lights. The bearings were great, not even warm after some highway driving. My new motto for boats is don’t ask, don’t tell.
I am working on getting the Salvage Garage set for tomorrow, I hope to install extra lights and make it so that there won't be anyplace to hide from the light. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the difference is like mid day and dusk. If we have time, we will also install some outside lights, should make working after dark a lot easier. Regardless, the inside lights will be done, I am adding another 5 or 6 lights in some key areas, a couple had issues with the forklift hitting the old lights, so I removed them completely. The plan is to turn them sideways so they fit between the bottom chord of the trusses, then they will be tucked up in and out of the way. Might look goofy, but having the light back will be great.
Currently looking to see if the casters on the war wagon are a standard bolt pattern, it needs four swivels, so awkward to get it moved around. I think once it is more mobile, it will actually be used a bit more. I bought a butcher block top for it a while ago, but never installed it, one more thing for the list....

I found the absolute perfect casters, except for one thing, just one thing, there were only three of them?? I looked for a while, not sure why there would have been three, but I checked and they have the same overall height as the other wheels, so two of them will make it work. The bolt pattern is even the same.
I am not going to lie, it is harder to get rolling and control if you want to go straight, but I can push it sideways now and that was always a problem before. I think if I add a handle to the other end it would make it better. For now I think it will be fine, just have to pay attention when moving it around.
I have a few things to put away, then I am not sure if I am going home or headed to the Hill to unload things. I suspect it will be late enough that heading directly home will be the smarter choice.

Sounds like you're getting close to the wire. With great effort you've negotiated yourself into a pretty good position. It seems like it might be wise to get that office done to maintain your gains in the negotiations.
I am not overly worried, there will be progress and that is the main thing he wanted to see. I have already talked to him about the fact that I am NOT just moving everything up to the office all at once and that it is going to be made functional by May 1st, so that I am actually working out of the space instead of the hole in the back room of the house. The copier/printer will be up there sometime next week, just need to coordinate with the weather...
And, if he has a meltdown, then he does, I will deal with that if it happens. He will be more interested in getting out to the island and working on the dock than anything else. I am sure he will take some time off from that to make things miserable for me, just not sure how yet, most likely it will be the Draftsight software and the new windows computer he bought. My Stepmother has told me that he has been on tech support calls constantly, my guess is he can't figure anything out and since the operating system is totally new, once he figures it out, he won't remember how to do it later.

Found a nice cord reel yesterday, went to pay the guy his asking price of $90 and he said, just do $60. I was already happy at $90, I was really happy at $60. It has 25’ of 10/4 SO cord, will be perfect for my 3 phase extension cord.
Just finished PT, now I am headed to feed Chuck and get ready for the tower climb. It isn’t sunny and it is a bit windy, will probably feel like winter, so I have to make sure I have enough gear to keep myself warm.

As long as the elbow doesn’t fall apart on me, I should be OK, worst part is the bulky bags I have to carry for the light bulbs, once I get halfway up I will only have one bag to deal with. PT wants me to wear a wrist splint, not happening, I told her I would try, but I need the ability to flex my wrist.

How's the elbow feeling? How far up are you on the second set of pics?
We are swapping to LED soon, I can have a dual system that has white blinky during the day and red blinky at night, then I do not have to ever paint the towers again. There are companies that will lease it to you and they maintain the system and monitor it cheaper than I can buy and install it myself.
The climb down was worse than the climb up, elbow isn’t too bad, but I suspect it will hurt more later.

I'm absolutely sure of that, it's very raw at ground level. Shorts on a few days ago, back to flannel lined jeans today and friggin gloves. One day near 80 is all it takes to "reset" your body.

Do you (have to) replace them after a certain time interval or did these ones need replacing because they were broken? Would love to have a go climbing a tower like that, spend quite a few hrs in my career using helicopters constructing electric transmission towers/lines (underslung) but never was allowed to climb them (I did ask)

Thanks for not leaving us in suspense. If you hadn't posted an "on the ground again", we would have been going nuts..
These were half and half, the smaller bulbs were burned out and the larger ones were timed out.
As for the elbow, I was able to grasp the side of the ladder, so it didn’t strain things the really bad way (palm down), but I was climbing awkwardly due to that and the two bags full of lightbulbs.
