i thought about it, but the tires are junk, the box is rotted off it and the brakes were locked up, I didn’t want to get into dealing with the tire kickers.

Today was almost a $250 scrap day, better than nothing, but nothing like it used to be. :(

First load ended up being about a ton, then the next load was just the tail of one of my old trailers. It was 880 pounds, I didn’t expect it to be that heavy.

My Brother is up at the Hill, he has been removing trees at the neighbor’s house, now we are looking at doing a bit of cleanup for me. Seems like everything we are talking about doing means I have to undo something I already did. The big tilt trailer has to be moved and it is all torn apart waiting to redo the brakes. So now I have to put it back together to move it. :(

I can’t pass up the help though, so it should be worth it long haul. That is assuming I end up buying the Hill, but I don’t want to think about that right now. ;)

I should have started on this side, then I could have matched the holes on the other side, now they are either going to be off, or I drill new holes. OCD probably isn’t going to let me have it asymmetrical. ;)

The old wire tried to be the ground for welding, it melted and then I just twisted it back together, it has kept working for almost a year now.

I wish I had time to rebuild the rams on the Muv-All, two out of the three leak constantly while the pony motor is running and the other one leaks, but not as bad. I am not sure if the lock mechanism one leaks, will have to look into it. All the pins are seized in there, so they are going to have to be cut to get the rams out, that is why I haven't done it yet. I need to get some things done at the Hill with the Mitsu, then I can bring it over to the Salvage Garage, after that I can tear into the rams. Would be nice to just do the complete restoration on the trailer all at once, but I think I am going to have to do things in stages. If the summer goes well, maybe I can make it a priority, I suspect that this year is pretty much shot already, so I am not going to keep my hopes up. :(

I am trying to get the lights changed out, but every time I need something, it is either at the other shop or I just don't have it. Frustrating, a few minutes ago a bin settled off the side of something that I had it precariously propped up on, got to see what that mess looks like.

What I need is a full time stock person at each end, with a constantly updated inventory....

I need to order some parts, I can make do with what I have right now, but it isn't up to my standards, going to see if NAPA has what I need.

Or you could place the order with McMaster, then have NAPA call you and tell you that they do not have any of the items in stock and they would be here next week or I could pay an additional $43 to get them here tomorrow.......

Now I have to hope that I can get what I need elsewhere. Oh Well, at least I have oxygen for a few more days.

I can't fathom how your sense of humor could sink so low

I can get what I need at NAPA today, also placed an order with McMaster, that hurt, but I am always needing ring terminals and I never seem to have them, now I will have just about every size imaginable.
I've been buying big cans of ring terminals off amazon. They've been working well and are a one day delivery like mcmaster

Well now I did it, ran into something that is missing that I may not easily be able to come up with. I apparently did not buy any of the red lights, just the amber ones, I need three red ones. I have already made it so the new ones are the only way forward, guess it is time to make some phone calls.

Another $175 and I have everything I need to finish the light swap. I am working on the hardest ones right now, the mid blinkers are run by a converter box that has to be installed, this allows me to use the standard style surface mount lights instead of the oddball marker/blinker lights. The rear lights are all done and functioning. ;)

On a sad note, not that anyone really thought there was another resolution, RIP to the people on the Titan.
