I suspect that the guy is not looking for more action, he is either sleeping or has gone underground. If the cops do find him, I expect there will be a bunch of flying steel.
The inner rims were much older than the outer rims, this is common with aluminum rims wearing the lip, Ford trucks are notorious for it, pretty much anything that is loaded heavy will eventually do it. These were bad enough that a tire place would most likely say they wouldn’t mount any tires on them. The rims aren’t terrible for what you are getting, they cost about $300 each, a lot more aluminum than in a car or pickup truck rim. They produce a ton more of them and they are standardized so they fit the majority of the trucks and trailers currently on the road.
