As for the green color question, the snap on has more of a yellow to it, the harbor freight is more of a green and I actually like the harbor freight green better. In person they are noticeably different, so if you wanted an exact match it isn’t, but it would look good enough for GJ pictures.

Richie, thanks, it is even better than it was, the Hill is even better too. My plans are coming together, all it took was to get some help, have them for tomorrow too. I think the Hill will show some serious improvement by next week. The new forklift is inside so I could get the ice off it and try to fix an air leak.

Yesterday the town delivered our new trash and recycling carts, they are switching to the trash pickup using a truck with an arm. The carts have lids that don’t close all the way, they are open enough that the wind will catch them and most likely water will get into them. Awesome, on top of that, we still have to buy the special (read expensive) bags for our trash. :( They say the carts may be distorted during shipping and that they will back to normal after sitting in the sun for a few days, we will see. The lids are inches from closing at the current temperatures. I also think they left more than needed, going to be a real PITA to have to haul them to the end of the driveway on top of the recycling and trash too.

Got some office work done, now I need to do a bit of work on one of the new forklifts, I figured out what the leak was, just not sure I have what I need to fix it, I will be able to disable the valve and still use the forklift. Also want to change out the mirrors, I am going to have to get some more to make it work the way I would like, but it will be better than what was there. Not tackling the electrical yet, but the wiring is not great for the lights, will be replacing the military switch assembly as well.

I've got the Robotruck garbage thing here. I love it. The dogs do, too. They gave me a pair of 95 gallon wheelie bins. One for trash, one for recycles. There's no bag requirement, other than we use bag liners in the kitchen for our convenience. Anything else, like shop waste, just goes in straight. I've sent roofing, masonry, you-name-it. The truck doesn't care.

Yes, the bins can be a bit distorted during shipping. Some of the factories bind the living **** out of them, and then the transport companies crank them down more. My neighbor got one that was really warped, until we got a couple high-90's days. Then it kinda leveled off.

We've got that same setup. i have a roller bin that's fairly large, no liner needed. i can't imagine dragging flat bottom bins all the way down the driveway every week. I'm very grateful it has wheels.

Today was a Lista day, moved stuff, setup stuff, moved stuff, now I have to figure out what is going where so I can install drawers that fit what I want in them. The shop at the Hill is going to be setup really well in short order. Having help the last four days made a big difference. Tomorrow is mostly meetings and office work, even tonight is office work, we are going to try and get things figured out for the year end, I want to buy another company truck for Dad, but he doesn’t seem to want to. He hates the Ford and it is a chore for him to get in and out of. We will see, isn’t like I have much time to make anything happen.

What kind of an inventory system do you use?

I know I know it's you!

It is nice that you have help and are actually getting things organized.....

I haven't actually organized anything yet, we basically set things up so that now I can do things by myself. There was just way too much two person work for me to get through alone. I expect things to actually start getting organized over the next several weeks. Should have the basics done with both bays usable sometime next week. I also have plenty to do over at the Salvage Garage, we setup some cabinets and made more room, but I have a lot of sorting to do. I think I am going to setup some dedicated space out in one of the trailers for auction items. It is looking like they will probably have the spring auction at the same local location like normal. I never really prep for it, so even if it is only some totes of tools or oddball supplies, at least I am working on getting it gone.

I wish I could sleep in, but I have too much to do before the meeting this morning. Of course it is pretty cold outside, about 19 degrees, slightly warmer than yesterday. Today should be mid 30s, Saturday mid 40s, Sunday mid 50s, Monday almost 60 with some rain. Then back to the 40s for the rest of the week. Go figure.

What is even weirder about marketplace is that if you have three different people all search the same thing, the results are not always the same. There will be items that my Brother sends me that didn’t pop when I searched for them specifically.
Wouldn't your search distance local, 100, 250, 500 mile dictate that?

You would think, but adjusting it would still not show the items, it would be on my Brother’s phone and I would do the same parameters and the item still wouldn’t show in the results. The entire thing is weird, they will show me items “from further away” except they will be 20 minutes from me.

Noticed the same thing a couple times before when switching between my laptop/phone or iPad, unless you save them some items just disappear so you have to go back to the device where you spotted the item, save it and then you can see it on your other device.
