Yup, on the towers there is a lot of small hardware that you can't wear gloves, so I feel your pain. Then there are the times where you drop one glove, that is always fun (I got smart fairly quick and generally carry an extra pair inside my jacket just for that reason).
I will say that there is no wind to speak of down here, so it isn't terrible unless you are not moving, then there isn't a lot that will help.
I was trying to find the spare filters that the guy gave me with the military forklifts, can't find them, already spent too much time looking. Now I am going to order some new ones and try to get the "good" one started. Fuel filters are definitely old, not many hours, but there is rust along the top of them. Provided I can get it going, I will do a full service then try to hook up the emergency brake using the electric valve they had started to install. It looks like it should work, but only when running, the valve is normally open and uses 24 volts to close, so it would essentially lock the air in the service brake can (you must apply brakes before engaging it) holding the brake engaged like having your foot one the pedal. I want to setup the manual cables, then you would have a brake regardless of voltage or air pressure. I need to remove the cables from the other one and then find them (one is broken), I am sure someone will list them by size and length, not just part number or application.
