Don't say that. Dogs are great. They make great knee warmers, among other talents, like dishwashing. At least I didn't get dogs...

That dog on the left looks really pissed off!
That's Otto, AKA the Grump. Between his eyebrows and his typical vocalizations, he seems eternally pissed. He's not really bad, he's just drawn that way. That dog on the left looks really pissed off!
So now are you going to buy or lease something new?The Burb is officially a parts truck, not going to do anything else to it

Man-o-man, we would gross my grandma out with the "canine dishwasher." Of course the dog was only a prewash, but we somehow always neglected to mention that.Dogs are great. They make great knee warmers, among other talents, like dishwashing.
The Burb is officially a parts truck, not going to do anything else to it, trans is not going to be with us much longer. Oh well, life goes on, there are far too many other things it needs to make it worth putting a rebuilt trans in it. I am going to see about the Volvo XC70 next, I think I can get that functional, minus the AWD part, but at least it will be wheels. It does smell like a mouse nest, so that will be fun.
I am going to have to figure things out as I will need a truck soon, preferably not one as big as Perk. If the Volvo can be used, I can rip into the 3500 and get the exhaust fixed, still have to deal with the bed, might have to buy a flatbed to get me by. Almost everything else is just a creature comfort or cosmetic after that.
I have also decided that I will pay my Dad’s ransom to rent the Hill for the time being, if I don’t, it is clear that I won’t be able to get anything accomplished this year. Frustrating, but slightly less frustrating than trying to move everything in a few months.![]()
This was my thought, I have been spread too thin and by making this decision I can at least move on.That ***** about the Burb, but at least that is one question mark that is now settled.
I look at power outages as a gift from dog. We curl up on the couch with a good book and watch the fire.A bit annoying that not having power made so much more work, plus the loss of time that I should have been doing something else...
