I guess.......
I finally got the trailer wiring and truck plug setup, it is almost completely temporary because I didn't have all my parts yet, but the good news is that the wiring on the trailer side isn't too bad, most of the damage was at the cable about two feet from the plug for the truck. I eliminated that and hooked a temporary junction box up, the trailer has a really nice junction box at the rear, it is all sealed and weather tight, but you can't buy the cords for it anymore, I was originally thinking I would eliminate it, now I am not so sure. It does need to be mounted better and where the lights connect up could be redone, they used **** connectors and no heat shrink, plus a few of the cables are so tight you can barely get the lights plugged in. In the end, it is a lot better than what it was when I started, had to replace a light and the harness, then clean four of the lights terminals up to get things working. The good part was they were already LEDs, so no need to upgrade anything.
