XJ think of how steep that deck would be if it were able to touch the ground. It would be pretty tough to load anything on it, even with the winch.
It's a 17 year old used trailer, sometimes ramps go missing or become uselessly damaged. If the price is right you look past things like that and make your own if needed.
The previous owner removed the ramp portion of the tail because it was too steep, he used it to move scissor lifts and forklifts (hmm, I move forklifts, coincidence? I think not!). There are ramps that stow under the rear section of the trailer and they are there. The trailer is hydraulic powered tilt, gravity down....

The tool is a PVC cutter made by Milwaukee, it will make hundreds of cuts on one battery. I have two, but it is hard to use both at once.![]()

I found a monster wood chipper for cheap money, if my Brother doesn’t buy it, I may. It has a grapple to load itself, Cummins 5.9 engine with issues. I am pretty sure it is a whole tree chipper, well, up to a certain size. Seller is going to call me, not sure I should mess with this one, but, I think it could be a decent investment. They sell for $20k plus and this one is $7500.
Luckily there is a Lowe’s in the same plaza, easier to park there.
I actually have a 5.9 engine hanging around. Cue someone in the background saying “of course you do”.![]()

The Perk reminds me of a 70's-80's Saab. Got a face only a mother could love, but dang they're great vehicles.
