Truth. I have an Oliver 1900 with a 4-53. It's great for tractor shows. The two stroke Detroit’s are the only engine I know that can turn massive amounts of fuel into noise and smoke instead of power……
300.DOT physical done, I am down to 300 pounds, no issues with Diabetes, they did a drug test, hope it is clean, my boss is a real a$$hole when it comes to that.![]()
I see a lot of scrap guys do that same thing. They have a decent couple of months, and then runout and buy a new truck. Next thing you know the price drops, and they are taking it back, and posting an ad for a used truck. Most young lobster guys have huge Cats in their boats now, its amazing what the boats cost now. The old timers know what a bad season is and stay with the their old stuff as they know the payments come even if the lobsters don't.
How many gallons total of oil would you have? Stay under 1350 or you need a SPCC plan, Spill prevention and control planI am only using them for my waste oil in the shop, I have been nervous about using the plastic ones since I use torches and welders. I am paying $650 for two of them, one has a pump and dispenser that I think I can sell.
SG in SoPo? If it is I understand why you lost after dealing with Fire Dept thereTechnically I am effed anyways, they consider the 1350 total on the property, between the house, the wood shop, the regular shop (waste oil and regular furnace), then I have 55 gallon drums in the Quonset hut, there is more like 2000 gallons. I played the game with the fire Marshall at the SG and lost, I had a double wall 1000 gallon tank, he told me no effing way, then said just use four 330 gallon tanks, I told him he was nuts and there was no way those four tanks were as safe as one double wall tank. At this point I am just going to have to keep things as safe as possible, that is part of the reason I am upgrading tanks to at least be metal versus plastic.
Nah, I'll be ready by December. I hope I have my concrete in the ground for a ground mount PV system by thenI am planning on being ready for snow by November 1st.
