Thanks everyone, I just got home, yes after 1 AM. I think we should be good, Salvage Garage is ready for snow, I am going over early, in a few hours, to pick up Ponch, the orange forklift twin to Baker. We got everything inside with extra room. Used the snowplow to push Benson inside.

It is just part of the game, we do have some trade offs though, we get mosquitos and black flys, construction, tourists, and lots of Massholes…..

Happy belated birthday wishes Strouty, good to see that with a lot of hard work you managed to more or less get there after Covid set you back a fair bit!

Strouty, is that orange fork truck 4 wheel drive, it has a **** motor? That thing looks pretty handy if it was running. Looks you have a few hours today with still warm temps.

So now that you're prepped for winter, what's your next steps? How goes the office? Not trying to poke you, just very curious. Looking forward to seeing how that, the Vidmar/Lista, and the Perk work out.

Just finished putting the plow on the F-350 a few minutes ago, I am done for the day and about to head home, I am beat, this week has kicked my ****. Of course the one thing that I haven't even looked at yet is the snow blower for our house, it is a Honda, so it will probably run, fingers crossed.

I got almost all the major things moved at the Hill, but there was an issue with the air system on Perk, it couldn't keep up with the big Sterling truck with the knucklebone on it, so we had to leave it at the top of the Hill, at least it is hooked up and ready to go for the next time that the driveway isn't slick.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, as long and hard as the day was, I got to spend time with a couple good friends, really made the day. :)

It hasn’t stopped here yet, but it doesn’t look too bad here, sucky part is that the ground definitely wasn’t frozen, so plowing is going to be fun and road grader like.

Not frozen here either, so tearing up lawn and gravel will be done for sure. My plow doesnt float so it will really carve some gravel if not paying attention. Still snowing here also but pretty light. Should be easy to move anyway.

At the SG it will be good to flatten all my tire tracks, then hopefully it will freeze up this week, at the Hill, well, it is just going to make a mess.

Your planning and prep for snow reminds me of getting ready to go to war...

Speaking of snow prep, what is this F350 that you speak of?

Company truck, I hate it, but I am not using my truck to plow the local tower site roads and the Hill.

There was just enough snow to be annoying, I also found what was left of my French drain.

I am going home, I still haven’t started the snow blower and I am sure my Dishwasher has been converted to a Snowblower, so at least I don’t have to worry too much about that. ;)

I plowed five locations and didn’t get stuck.

The fender extension for Perk should be delivered today, has some cracks in the gel coat, but it looked good other than that. Hopefully there was no damage when they removed it.

Hope you can get the Perk inside, coldest day of the season so far. Another reason to hate snow, snow on the ground helps drive the temps lower at night

Perk is outside at the bottom of the Hill and the insurance is still in progress, I am going to give them a call today.

I am spending the day at the Salvage Garage, the fender extension I bought for Perk is being delivered today, at this point I have all the important parts that I need to rebuild the nose. I put Perk back together enough to use it for moving things, so that is good too.
