I know you said why, but still, why? I did go out when it was super cold earlier this week, but that was so I could go to the gym. So ,....NO!!!!
@walrus, Evolution has a lower-priced 14" metal cutting chop saw. It's nowhere near as nice as Strouty's but nowhere near the price. On the plus side, it comes with a carbide toothed blade that produces almost no sparks and doesn't heat up the metal as much. It also runs at a much slower speed than the abrasive ones (1,450 rpm versus 3,400-4,000 rpm), which makes a huge difference. I paid $200 for one at Home Depot back in 2018.My buddy is a welder he has an EVO saw its great on the other hand my Milwaukee ***** so dont get one![]()

Ok. I put it back. Now I feel bad, my thread isn’t awesome.![]()
Misfired on the reply - never mindI may even fill up at the Hill, don't want Chuck to get too cold.
Keeping in the fruit is not conducive to cheap. Sorry, just the way it is. There's always hackintosh, but you don't seem to be the computer-y type so i'll not suggest that route... sorry. If I remember correctly, it is a tendonitis issue and they do a similar procedure to carpal tunnel. If I put my arm in a sling for several weeks it would go away, but when it comes back, then I would have to do the sling all over again. After having the left arm done, I have not had any issues and that was a few years ago. I have been going the non surgical route, but I suspect all the shoveling I had to do just kept it inflamed and now I am back to where I was a month ago.
I have to get a couple new computers, one for the Salvage Garage and one for the shop at the Hill, my current ones are 12 years old and have essentially given up. I was just going to buy a couple newer ones (I deal with fruit), but they want too much money for them, I looked at decent used ones and then I stumbled on a 14 computer lot, going to try and get that, then I can sell a couple extras, plus have some parts to satisfy future issues. I am sure that it is going to cost me way more than I want to spend, luckily my Dad and my Brother both need updated computers as well, so I can get some of my money back almost instantly. I actually need four of them to have all my locations covered, we will see how bad the auction ends up being, but I suspect that in the end I will get an overall great deal. I wish I could buy my Burbs this way.....
"He is going in for hernia surgery at the end of the month.'' Any guaranty that he will survive it?He isn't actually forcing me, but if I don't learn it and he keeps using it, bad things will happen. He is known to break computers (well the software end) just because he doesn't realize the printer is out of ink or that there is some other simple thing. He can turn a five minute fix into a days work, I have lived it a few too many times. He is going in for hernia surgery at the end of the month, so I know he will be on the computer way more, this means problems I have to fix and more than likely a lot of companies money spent on stupid ****. He just signed up for this Masterclass thing and he is already having trouble signing in, they have had to help him with his password five or six times and he decided to cancel it after spending $189.
If I don't get this lot, I may just do that, everything with Apple is funny, my 2011 iMacs were great. I can fix them, but since they limited to High Sierra, it screws up a bunch of my programs. I looked into side loading things, but I have the graphics card that won't let you do it, if I had the non souped up version, I could at least get a newer OS on them. The new m1/m2 macs are nicer than any of the intel versions. Just buy the cheapest of whatever fits your needs and they will be fine for much longer than any of the iMac Pros you are looking at. Or don’t, and then you’ll be buying new stuff again when Apple stops supporting intel products.
He will live forever, just to make my life hell. His parents were 99 and 100 when they said goodbye. I suspect his mental ability and memory will be long gone before he says goodbye. Of course he could have an accident in the tractor trailer that he insists on still driving, most likely he will just kill some other people though."He is going in for hernia surgery at the end of the month.'' Any guaranty that he will survive it?
Please strike that last statement.
About as terrible as they could be. The real thing that will make up my mind is the deal to buy the Hill, if that can happen and my lawyer and I like the deal, then I will be tangled in for a while, but at that point it should be worth it. I know there are going to be issues and fights, I think that things can work as long as they work for both parties. I am not interested in a one way deal.Speaking of you and your dad, how are the plans to separate yourself business wise from him coming along?
