Have been able to get some things accomplished in the barn the last few weeks.
Primarily getting the electrical wired in... still lack a few things, but would say I'm 75% there.
I went with the Costco LED's- 19 in total, controlled by 2 switches. Things get pretty bright with all rows lit up... dare I say too bright.

My first (significant) venture down the electrical path... found it tedious, but rewarding... even got to bend some conduit.

I really like everything you are doing on your garage and in it. The foxbody looks great! Whats the stats on the engine and car? I see you are using a smog pump idler pulley. You can ditch it all together and just run a shorter belt. Do a google search for "5.0 mustang short belt". you should find a diagram for every combo of belt set ups with the belt length you would need. I found this out about a year ago after running the idler pulley for years.

needless to say I am subscribing to this.

Thanks, I've used the short belt route on several of my prior fox projects... just didn't this time. Why? I can't recall... getting old & suffering from CRS. Motor is a 342ci, 11:1, AFR185, Comp XE 282 cam, ported lower. Have yet to have get it on the spinner, **** dyno has it just north of 400rwhp.
Good streetable torque, blast to drive. Full treatment of Maximum Motorsport suspension & chassis goodies. SN95 cobra brakes.

Nice! I noticed the hose reel on the bathroom wall. Did you tuck the compressor in there?
Wiring can be a very Zen experience...did you set up any 220 circuits while wiring?

As a long time Mustang guy let me just say...drool!!

Yes, the compressor is the storage area, to keep noise down. No 220... yet.

You and I have almost the same build. I bet she is a blast on the streets. Have you had it on any tracks yet?

Very interested in the details of this bar build as I was just about to do the same thing in my basement and your design is better than the one I was going to go with - thanks for sharing

Really just winging it, after a bit of research.
Base is 8'x20"x4' "L"
Bar top will be 42"h, approx. 20(ish)" wide, w/10(ish)" overhang
Counter will be 36"h, undetermined width.
... still determining finish, all in my head at this point.

This "stables" build has certainly become a case study in ADD. Started a platform deck 3 weekends ago to transition to the pool patio.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics... really pleased with how the deck and to be patio edge are coming together. Will hopefully have the decking on by the end of next weekend.

Wet cured, forms off & a light sand... almost ready for sealing. Hope to have the lower level in today. I'm debating using the remaining HD40 I have to densify/seal... thoughts?

That bar looks awesome! We did concrete counter tops on our BBQ island in the back yard at our home in Arizona before we moved. I really liked the look of them. I can't wait to see the rest of what you have planned for the bar area and the rest of the shop.
