Thanks for posting that little Indestro driver. Here is a set of tiny Craftsman wrenches I picked up last year.

Some nice midget ignition wrenches there, Todd. What brand of pliers are in that top set in the last image? The catalog shows those to have been Channellock. Any Idea when Bonney switched to using their own branded midget pliers?

Those are unbranded. They appear to be stamped.........very thin and not at all well made. I think I have a Lectrolite pair floating around somewhere that resemble them if I recall correctly. Without going through the catalogs, I'm not sure when they switched over.

And.........more bad news Jason, the 1140 DBE slipped right in between my 1139 and 1141........I didn't have a 1140. Also, no luck on the Bonney DBE. Appears more fleas are in order!

Thanks for the clarification. I went with a Bonney branded pair to finish of the larger set I have. The smaller set shouldn't have pliers, I don't think...

Too bad on the Plomb 1140, would have gone great next to my AC marked 1135 ;)

Here's my 2 Bonney ignition sets, and a Herbrand for good measure. I'm still looking for a midget Bonney driver.

It is interesting to see so many different brands of the small Ignition type sets. Here are a couple of pictures of my one set.

Bonney Miniature Engineers (DOE) wrenches in CV, Zenel, and nonspecific alloy forms. Ive seen one of the leatherette rolls in the wild and a few on CL, but have been uninclined to purchase them, because they have five slots only (the sets did not include the H15).

This is most of my small ignition wrench collection and the box I keep them in. I think I might have to work on getting some better photos but I was doing this outside tonight in the cold. Don't remember what I paid for any of these. Not much I'm sure. Collected over many years. The smallest wrench here is a pair of Snap On 1/8.

This is a a Tonichi 1/4 drive 0 to 6 in/lbs. They are very expensive. I forget exactly but I think I paid 20 to 30 dollars for it on Ebay only a couple of years ago.

Those P&C wrenches are neat! I've never seen those before.

Really dig that OTC torque wrench!
Does the box say 3/8" drive? :headscrat

You are right. The box says 3/8". but I don't have it here so I'll have to answer your question another time.

It is one of my favorite tools but of course it doesn't get much use. I like OTC and Owatonna tools in general and have thought of making a thread for them but it is not easy to access my stuff since it is mostly crammed in a smaller room.

The smallest one, the Tonichi, I bought only because I couldn't believe there was such a thing or a use for it. It is small, no?

Fact is that sometimes with smaller torque values I think we need more help than with the higher torque values.

I believe that your OTC torque wrench is made by Sturtevant because I have an identical one that is a Sturtevant. Regardless, it's a quality tool.

Or maybe the Sturtevants are made by OTC? I have 2 Sturtevants. One 0-150 ft/lbs and another 0-50 ft/lbs. The short one, 0-50 is quite rare I think. The big one I have owned for more than 40 years.

I have clickers that I prefer to use but I use the bar wrenches to check the settings on the clickers.

Sturtevant has always been Sturtevant. OTC is a supplier of special tools to the auto industry, and they have bought from other companies as needed. I have 0-35 and 0-50 wrenches as well, and a 300 lb/ft monster.

Looks like they are now a division of Snap-on Industrial. Edit: this is recent, like Nov 2016.

Motorman, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that little unmarked socket set with the green holder is what remains from a model 2104 Indestro set. I won't stake my life on it though. Does it have a patent number (or patent date) or model number stamped on the bottom of the holder?

d42jeep - Now that is odd. I have one yellow-handled Indestro 136, and I just picked up two clear-handled NOS Indestro 136, but like I said before, I'm not collecting Duro-Chrome.... so... the Indestro was yellow and the Duro-Chrome was orange? Or is that the result of UV light working on that particular formulation of plastic handle?
(But then, thinking of the other yellow-handled stuff I have here and have seen posted here, I don't recall seeing anything looking like "orange".)

Yes, there's a patent no. on the bottom. Funny, but one of the small sockets has the hex wrench opening on one side and a 'square' opening on the other side while the others are all six point.

Dave, thanks for reminding me about the Kennedy and Gerstner boxes....pulled a few odds and ends out of mine at home, have a bit more at work.

First is a set of small rules that go from 1/4" to 1" in 1/4" increments, graduated in 32nds on one side, 64ths on the other. This set is a Lufkin No. 20S.

Next is a Mitutoyo No. 1923 dial indicator, .0005" graduations, .060" travel.

Then a Brown & Sharpe 1" and 2" rule both with 4R graduations and a small outside firm joint caliper.

2 small solid squares : a Starrett No. 63 and a machinist made one.

One tiny plumb bob - 1" long.

I will keep digging to find other small wrenches, socket sets, screwdrivers, nut drivers and the like.

A few more dug out of the boxes:

Standard and metric Craftsman midget box end wrenches, a few 4" adjustable wrenches, and a set of small nut drivers and one screw driver

If you post a pic of the underside, we will all see the outline of the trademark Sturtevant logo.
