Good shot of Dennis!
Looked closely at your detail work and it is very good. Really do like the grill work on both cars and the shadows/chrome work is exceptional. You relate you are a novice at painting? I would say you have a gift for painting as well as perspective.
Again, have enjoyed your thread.
Ody.
Thank You, Ody. Yes, I am a true novice at painting, but learning by doing has always been my way. I find inspiration many grand and small projects in here, and nice folks like Yourself that make this site worth coming back to every day
This is great

Love it.
Thanks, Hamar. BTW, Your nick has the name of a norwegian town. Any relations?
LOL Thats great !..ok Dog checked off ! Nice looking Dog also
Thanks, Vernmotor. Dennis is not always so sleepy as the picture. He is a lively and demanding dog that needs (and gets) a lot of exercise, and is a very good friend.
There has been no activity in the garage for a couple of days, but I found a couple of older pictures that might interest You:
Here is my Volvo on Volvo. This picture is from 2006 (I think). It shows a 142 I was in the beginning of repair/restore, and the 444 on top, just resting. But please notice my home-made 2 post lift
It did not pass my own safety inspection following the flood. But it served me well without any incidents for 7-8 years. But please don't try this at home..
Same thing, now with a Mini below. it was My wifes for a couple of Years. Nice car, but sadly rusted faster than I could keep up with:
Lot of stuff going on here. It is from august last year, before the rebuild started. I was about to send the PV to sandblasting:
It came back with a lot of new holes in it that I had to take care of.
So a couple of months later, this finally started. Wow, what a mess. The rest You know:
