CDI de-contents the torque wrench a bit by using a lower quality ratchet head. But you can download the PDF of the owners manual and see that they have very high quality builds on the inside. The premium for snap on toqrue wrenches is pretty steep for just a ratchet upgrade, so make sure you need that before forking over for the brand name.

For pro useres with truck service, they get alot more for their money bcause of the testing an calibration is worth hundreds of dollars over 5 or 10 years when you add up annual or bi-annual service over 3-4 wrenches which is the standard lot most people keep in a shop (~3-150 or 250ft/lbs or so)

As I Snap On Franchisee, I find this very interesting, but the ratchets that you show are not equivalent to the snap on version, the weller version of the soldering iron does not contain as many tips, and when you add the extra tips it works out to the same price, the bacho pipe wrenches are identical to the snap on one, but also the same price.

Is the op being updated? If so. All the adv stuff from Matco is sunex. Their slack adjuster wrenches are kentool, brake chamber caging bolt socket is lisle. And if not mentioned before all their 90tooth wrenches can be found with mountain or ezred

The truck is an expensive way to get tools delivered, unless you are a professional and are worried about the warranty. They aren't U.S.A.all the way anymore. This thread gives you some good options on getting good tools and saving money.

That weller kit is wrong. The actual kit is the Portasol Super Pro 125 Kit. 100% identical. Portasol makes the kit for Snap On. The Portasol kit is $70 on Amazon, $160 on the truck. I just bought mine a month ago on Amazon.

found this the other day,

I don't know if the first page has been updated with gathered information, and admittedly, I haven't read the whole thread but this page has a good deal of tool truck equivalents

3 pc Walnut-Handled-Scrapers-Blue-Point - anyone know who OEMs these? COO is canada. Or other good putty knife / scraper brands that are similar and USA/Can?

https://store.snapon.com/Walnut-Han...t-Handle-Scraper-Set-Blue-Point--P647098.aspx

They are made by Richard, in Quebec Canada.
Richard is a very common brand north of the border, but I haven't seen them in the USA. They have similar walnut handled scrapers in their on-line catalog, but at least one of the blade styles in the Snap-on set seems to have been made specifically for Snap-on.

The Protoco socket rails are OK, but only if you get the old style with round "pegs" for the sockets. The newer ones have plastic spring-clips that are a mess. They hold the socket more firmly than they're held to the rail, so every time you pull a socket off the rail the spring clip comes with it. Then you have to dig the spring clip back out of the socket and replace it on the rail.

Last I checked, (it's been a few years) Protoco still had the old-style pegs in stock, you just had to tell them that's what you wanted.

Those magnetic socket holders are similar if not exactly like the ones available at Lowes stores in the socket and hand tool section.

Here's a link http://https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTerm=magnetic+socket

Speaking of socket trays, Home Depot has exact copies or nearly exact copies of the Hansen trays for about half the price. $15 for a set of two, one metric one SAE in 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2 http://https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-3-8-in-Drive-Socket-Organizer-Tray-Set-SAE-mm-2-Piece-H3DSOT/302755048

Wow! I've never heard of Richard Tools. I have one of the walnut handled scrapers that my Snappy dealer gave me about 25 years ago. I have used it hard, and it just won't die.

Quick note on hammers. The Wilton b.a.s.h. hammers are best hammers around.

Back to the post.
Matco pry bars are Mayhew pry bars
And I forget who but maybe mac are Mayhew screwdrivers.

I have both mayhew pry bars and screwdrivers and at much less cost of tool truck price.

The Blue Point BTWOSK 5 pc Bit Miniature Ratcheting Handle Set is the same as Craftsman 46157. Both made in the USA.

Does anyone have an equivalent or better option for these? Matco mst15300 exhaust gas sensor sockets. I also found them branded as schley but nothing under the $100 mark.

Really need the 14 and 17mm in both configurations.e995cecdfe92dae0550744ec95af4f74.jpg982a6b5250bd1f773f5702da98e2ff71.jpg
