The micro corrugated is my name for it and it is very hard to find. I had to have it specially ordered. I looked high and low to find it, and while I found it on the internet the freight would eat you up. Luckily I found a roofing supply store locally that could get it. The proper name for it is
1 1/4 corrugated utility galvanized. I think that is means 1 1/4 inch between the corrugated hi and low.

Definitely an amazing Garage!
I'm currently in the process of buying a house with a lot large enough to have a nice detached Garage myself.

I actually joined this forum moments ago just so I could provide my Congratulations, highpocket! You're The Man!

You know how I know you NAILED it? I would never do garage the same way and I still LOVE this garage. Super congrats on an outstanding job. Of course, you know you can never move from this house, righ?!

I love the tire mirror - I'll be stealing that idea, thank you very much. I won't be doing the NOS light fixture, but I do have a few spare fire extinguishers I might use....hmmmm.

Do you store anything in that half round above your work bench? Unless I missed it, where is the majority of your storage? Only in the overhead cabinets? Again, love your place.

I took 4x8 sheets of diamond plate that I bought from a local metal supply company to another local machine shop with a water-jet machine and they cut it all out per my measurements.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all the compliments. Some ideas I gleaned from the internet and some I just brainstormed. The tire mirror and nos light was a brainstorm.

Great Garage!! I am in Navarre and about to start the interior of my new 28x30. I love that corrugated metal trim, looks awesome! Where did you get the flames cut at? I may throw some business their way :)

Guess who made the cover of Better Homes and Garden's Wood magazine's Annual Dream Garages? Thanks for all the great support.

Congrats Highpockets!!!!! It's always great to see one of our members make it in to the magazine. Now I have to go out and get the magazine. I was just sitting here in the garage flipping through one of last years editions.

As others have said amazing inside just so detailed.
I have one question.
The outside, how does it look sitting next to the original house and garage that was shown on page 1 the before picture? Would it be possible for you post an after photo of the new shop sitting next to the original garage and house similar to the before one.
I'm wanting to see how it looks as I have similar plans.
Thanks

Congratulations on the achievement with the magazine.
Very impressive to say the least.
I never saw this until now and what a place you have. So is the US waiting for the stock pile of diamond plate to fill back up since your projects?

That thing is unreal! No wonder your wife was a little jealous of your creation. Well done correcting that with her new revamp.

Thanks again guys. I went to a local sign shop with the measurements for the areas I wanted to cover with flames and we looked through hundreds of flame styles. Once we found the one I liked he used his cad/graphics program to make them all fit into the designated areas. He had to do a lot of tweeking to make it all work. Then he converted the files into the format the waterjet machine used an I took the cd to the waterjet people. Took him about an hour or so on the graphics part.

Absolutely stunning metal work! I have trouble envisioning where I want to put lights and to see something like this is amazing. Great design and congrats on the cover on the magazine!
