I want one of these:
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...group_ID=20825&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

Im out of space on my KRA4813, and I think instead of adding a side cab, that rool cart would serve my needs, and be very nice to move around the garage. A bit pricy right now, when there are more air tools I want/need.

Yeah put all your common tools, it eliminates the need to walk back and forth to the box. I had a regular tool cart with no drawers, which i worked out of a pile, realy sucked trying to find a wrench that i just used. I developed the habit of putting the tool back in it's place, very convenient people may think its a pricey
tool cart, but it pays you back the more you use it.

esch, what are the blue and white drive handles in your socket drawer? Who makes em ? etc... etc....? They kind of almost have a 1970's Indestro look!

Also, the needle nose set you have is considerably shorter than the set I was speaking of yesterday, possibly by as much as 4"!

looks like old SK stuff,i have a old SK 1/4 drive with that handle. Whats holding the sockets to the drawer, if its nothing then you probably gotta open it real slow.

The sockets are held in place by little squares of plastic that are molded into the drawer insert in the various drive sizes of the sockets. I thought old SK stuff was either white and green, or green and clear? At least the bits and pieces I have are those colors.

Those are 3/8" drive locking spinners - made by VIM. They are handy and you can buy the exact same thing at HF (under the Pittsburgh name). The quality really ain't half bad.

Looks like a little 4 wheel cart with a drawer or two and not like a conventional roller cabinet. Hows that? :headscrat

Here's a pic of one of them.

vim.jpg

It's just a spinner handle and the blue thing at the end slides back to lock your socket on the 3/8 square drive. This one happens to be made by VIM (the advertise in PTEN all the time) and I found it at a tool store in Flint, MI. It came as a two piece set- this is the short one and there is another one about 9" long.

You can literally find the same exact thing at HF in the screwdriver aisle with the word "Pittsburgh" on it instead of VIM for about $15 or so for the set of 2.

Yup, that is just the kind of tool I would take a chance on except I bought the equal to that and the other in that set in Snap On years ago. If I were to do it today I would not hesitate to go cheap on them! Looks good to me.

Believe it or not, Goodyear. Available at PepBoys for $60-70 on sale. 24v, mine is 200ft-lbs. Its not too shabby at all, hell of a deal if you ask me. Now I have used 3 Snap-Ons, and they're VERY nice, but for 1/6 of the price...these rock in my opinion.

Why not throw a picture up for guys like me that don't know what one looks like! :headscrat

Alrighty then.

Not quite the same thing as you guys have, but....There isn't much inside since I've been rearranging things between my big cabinets and this one. This was my first Lista box. I bought it used and it came without the mobile base originally. When I bought my other cabinets I thought it would be a good idea to have at least one mobile cart/cabinet. I'm glad I did. I use this more than anything else in the shop. It's so nice to be able to wheel this thing under the car on the lift and have all the stuff I need at my fingertips. It wouldn't be quite possible with a bigger roller, but this one fits the bill. 440 lbs. per drawer capacity - 8 drawers. Colson heavy duty casters with poly wheels. I haven't tried it yet, but I could probably drop a transmission on it instead of buying a trans jack!

I love it. I'm sure I'll be flamed, but I think these cabinets are so much better than the big truck boxes...and at a much cheaper price! People don't really know what they're missing I guess.

I used to have ALL my tools in here...just to give you an idea of how much space is inside. Then again, my tool collection has increased in recent years. :)

The Hazet tubs are rather European in design to me. Looks like someone from across the pond designed it. (i know Hazet is foreign) It is nifty looking though.

Here's mine. I only use it when I'm doing a job, for tools and parts. When I finish the tools are cleaned and put back in the box.

No it didn't. I was really surprised that it didn't and did not quite know what to do with the cover when not closed, beside hang it in down the back of the cart.

I purchased a small shock (2 1/2" travel) at a surplus store for $3.50 and using 3/16" aluminum rivets I connected 4 - 3/4" countertop attachment brackets, 1/4" bolts and self locking nuts. It works quite well.
