Blackhawk Carter Carb contract i assume.
Hi. Thanks, yeah, i have dozens of Carter sockets but none look so distinctively Blackhawkish. That's a rare socket
I believe you are correct. Blackhawk appears to have contracted to Carter and Stromberg.
You can see a Stromberg carb set that I posted earlier, see post #380:

It's pretty obvious that a lot of the pieces in this set are Blackhawk produced.
That's a helluva set you posted. Obviously those handles jump out. It looks like those sockets say Blackhawk on them, do they have Stromberg specific tool #'s or?

That's cool. Moved here in 08 after getting out of trade school. You must had cleaned house alot of Craftsman and SK still remain. What side of SD were you on?Left SD in 84. We had a fair amount of blackhawk stuff there back then. Was considered a top tier tool brand. Also alot of sk and craftsman.
Ahh haven't spent much time in Pierre. Living in Sioux Falls so I make to Brookings a few times a year.Pierre, smack in the middle. Also in Brookings for a bit.
Just picked up a bomb box for my later nuggets stuff, came from idaho

Okay, so I was not a whippersnapper in '84, but I was at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and the only things I was collecting at the time were girls and paychecks!Left SD in 84.

Everyone knows you are old. I am pretty old too, so I can't really give you too much hassle about it....

I would be willing to trade them off. What do you have for Plomb trade bait? May take nuggets as well but trying to focus on Plomb.Nice. Want to trade those wrenches? I have some extra nugget stuff...
