Glad to hear you got the B running again! Things like that are frustrating. Now you need to find a JD No. 5 or 38 sickle mower for it.

JB, I like the idea of a timber frame for your blast cabinet, different I must say but looks fantastic.

So that's what all that wood was for? Are you going to use metal on the bottom and back side? Not sure I've seen very many made from wood. Where did you get this idea? What kind of lights are you going to use? I bet some LED's would light that box up?![]()

I highly suggest metal on the back side. You be surprised how much damage the media does to wood. If you use sand, the rocks are so hard they just bounce around and it will eat the wood really fast. On the lights you need some glass(safety) or plexie glass. Need to have a way to remove it and replace it, cause it gets cloudy pretty fast.

JB, I hope you don't mind me posting this in your thread. I too was curious about the hopper, as I plan to build a cabinet myself, down the road, so I researched the thread that BUGTHUG referenced and am dropping a link here since so many of us follow your build:

Post 64 shows the hopper being built and talks about how.

BUGTHUG, just highlight all of the text in the browser where the page address is listed and paste it into your post. This works well on computers, however, not easily done with smartphone and some apps such as Tapatalk. If you need specific help, shoot me a PM and I'll get you squared away.

The blast cabinet is a interesting project. How many money do you think you'll have wrapped up in it when your finish vs buying one off CL?
Nice job!![]()

I'm definitely following your vision now. I can surly see a size issue with fitting bigger items. For the price your spending to have a blast cabinet to fit about anything you need to put in there seems worth the time and effort your putting in.
Oh MAN, I can not believe I am just now finding you, especially after your many visits and nice comments to my thread, my apologies for not checking in sooner! Have not read all, but definitely intend to! Love the house and acreage and the barn is outa sight! And love that wall! And the little Cobra, awesome! I had and use to race a Triumph GT-6+ back in the 70's, FUN! Again, sorry for being late, just so many garages, SO little time!
I have to pick it up which will be about a 7 hour round trip so I plan to do that in the next couple of weeks which is not a problem luckily. Also I have a couple of new additions to my growing heard to share with you, but for now I'll keep you guessing as I don't have photos of them.
The good news is everything works and it gets 40 mpg when driving like a fat kid (me) trying to get to a buffet before closing time. (Don't judge me, I made it and the food was delicious.) I'll hang onto this one as it is worth more to me as a 3rd backup (with A/C) than it would be to anyone else.I wanted to show y'all the sickle mower I talked to Flyoverstatefarmboy, here it is in all of its glory:

I don't see no sickle mower?? Looks like something a tornado left behind![]()
Good job with the vehicle additions! I've become a fan of saturns, had mine for over 5 years now. Put over 80,000 miles on it with no major problems. Definitely lacking in power.

I fixed the picture for you Herb, it looks like it endured some sort of tragic farming accident that is for sure. There really isn't anything left of it, but if that tree ever dies I'll dig it out of there.

The pedal disengagement height may just be a saturn thing. My wife won't drive my car because the clutch feel is so light, with a high let-off point.
Yowza! $800 a pop. I had no idea.
