Picked up an engine stand then cut it up to make a buds and mine’s bender so it’s now mobile and portable. Now to brace it up so it’s not flimsy at all, make mounts so the dies and followers stay with the bender and paint. Swag ram mount is on order to convert it to air over hydro.

Nice job on converting the engine stand to a bender cart.
I loved doing this, it was a collaboration between me and RMWraps out of Idaho or Montana. Vinyl wrap actually. As you can see, I am not like my fiancée....I like my stuff to match. She’s more arts and crafts, I am technical gearhead....my education as a Millwright testifies to that!

We're going to need some updated here...

Here’s the rear of the bronco all tacked in. Seam sealer came In yesterday as well black raptor liner kit. Just waiting on the white to mix it in to obtain a grey interior which will be a nice contrast to the black seats and dark grey body.
Today I am pulling most of it out to finish patch panels then on my next long weekend, I will pull the cage, raptor line the floorboards and dash then put the cage back in.
Only being around on the weekends sure has its downfalls.

Then to accommodate my A.D.D.....as I call it.....
I picked up a pair of 1992 F350 diffs with 4.11s off a buddy of mine for 1000$ CDN, just missing 1 axle in the 10.25 rear and the spindle nuts. I plan to rebuild them with new synthetic gear oil, brake hardware etc before they go under my 1996 F150 when I do my SAS.
Don’t want truck payments after my car is paid out this year, so I shall build my weekend truck. Buddy of mine will build me a 351 in his engine machine shop when I am ready. Need to pick up a 4x4 transmission and tcase this summer as well.
Rockers, fender flares and box will also get the same grey as the interior of the bronco will have.

Other work that has been done to the truck was more permanent risers for my ATV. Ramps can be removed and stored on the wall in the shop for Costco and tool purchases, etc.
This ATV is why I am upgrading the suspension, not to mention for the soon to come RV trailer and I want 4X4.

Rims have started comin in one by one as I am on a path of only allowing to spend 25% of my paycheque max on tools and toys. The rest after mortgage etc goes to credit card repayment structure I put myself on this year.
Pro Comp 16x8s that will get wrapped in Wrangler DuraTracs. Thinking 33s or 35s. Will see when the SAS and Fender Flares is done to see what I can fit. I want to bring down the effective gear ratio by going with oversized tires.

More updates on the Bronco
Well approached my superiors today at my short term maintenance gig, as who knows when I will be laid off, I know currently no earlier than March 12th but hear I could be sticking around til summer.
Anyways asked to see if they would sign me on as an apprentice welder so I can use down time between jobs to better myself. No real intention of gaining the hours but I want the theory behind me and just practice at home unless I could get someone to actually give me hours as a welder. More really for bettering my skills all around and more of a versatile Jman millwright.

Do they all get along. I never had pets (not counting fishes)... I find multi pets in a household is such a fun dynamics to watch (while visiting friends)
They have their barely bad moments with each other but far and in between. For the most part, especially after the pitty cross passed away last year, particularly the bulldogs have taken on traits of her. Otherwise they get along famously. Quite frankly the better half says the one left will sulk until the other comes back from walks or car rides.
51 holes in the tub, whether stock or put in by me over 20years or the previous owner, have been filled and ground down. Still want to run the flapper wheel over them but priority states get the seam sealer in to harden up over this next week away at work.

No fun. I filled over 100 holes in the frame of my 72 F250 and have another 150+ to go in the body. Do you use a piece of aluminum as a backer or just have at it?
Fk!!! I got approached by work to go home and discuss with the better half about me going full time long term at the plant, which will mean moving there as well. She’s more amped up than I thought. I guess she’s really done with the hustle and bustle of a 1.4 million people city and would love a city of 70 000., not to mention halfway between her home town and this one which is mine.
She’s been on Realtor sites ever since, even found a fully developed house with not one but TWO Heated garages and RV space.
Would mean downsizing the tires on the bronco but V3.0 is an option as a toy box just for me, not the daily driver. Time to look. Thru V2.0 and see what’s slated to hit the black and blue bins. It’s been very warm here so I got some work with the yard too.
It’s an easy 3 hour haul back this way for camping, off-roading and quadding. Not to mention warmer summers and more moderate winters with a 1/8th mile track there too.

Sooo we’ll potentially see a build of v3.0, 5,000 sqft barn stick build?
5000....2400.....highly doubtful unless outside the city.
It’s been a hell weekend of beer and thinking hard. We are a yes but with some HARD buts.....
The ability to be home in 15 min every night is huge plus Calgary and my happy places in the Mountains is only 3-4 hours away which is no biggie with the plant having a parking lot across the road that would give me the ability to be ready to head west right after work.
