I think I read here that vintage drills are pretty common. However, I thought this pre-Speedway Thor U44 1/2in was kind of neat. Not your usual Craftsman. Made by the Independent Pneumatic Co. in Chicago. They had dropped the Independent Pneumatic name in favor of Thor in '53 and in' 54 were bought by Speedway in Chicago. Then sold again to Stewart-Warner in '64.
I need to rewire it. I got one hell of of zap testing it.
