I don't use a deep offset very often. Like the description says, they're for fasteners down in a recess. Most of the time you can get a fastener that's down in a recess with a socket, UNLESS the area directly above the fastener is blocked; in which case the deep offset wrench is a life saver. And one thing to mention is different brands have different offsets. 45 degree is most common while a 60 degree will get you down deeper. If I was to get a set, I'd get a 60 degree set. The J1100R set would be more handy for everyday use.

9/16” is for a 3/8” bolt, which industrially is used for almost everything. Lots of times where you need to double wrench it too, thus the two wrench’s being supplied.

Thank you both for the feedback!

Don’t buy offsets until you need them. The opposite - 0 offset, is the better choice. Normal combos are usually 10-15 degree offset on the box end.

I get by at work with the deep offsets in SAE and some DOE wrenches. I find I don’t need to use sockets as much with the deeps being available to me.
