Thread Sealant For Poly to Brass Fitting....??

I've searched and haven't found the info I'm looking for. I'm in the home stretch of converting a garden sprayer into a fluid transfer pump so that I can fill my diffs and t-case without the usual mess. I've drill/tapped for a gauge and I want to use a thread sealant so that this connection is leak free. Most of the thread sealants require a metal to metal joint to cure. Is there anything available that will seal threads for a metal to poly connection?

Pictured is the tank with a brass ****** threaded into it for visual purposes. The gauge that will inhabit it is a back mount gauge.
Edit*** The pressures will range from 15-20psi.....

I have used pipe dope, pro dope or Teflon tape for my sprinkler system. A barbed fittings can be used with a hose clamp or a stainless crimp ring. Don’t use a pipe joint compound that sets. You always need to take stuff apart in the future. Be careful not to over tighten the joint. Metal can break the plastic. Ever consider pvc ****** instead of brass?

Not all pipe dope is rated for poly but Leak Lock is. You might be able to get by with just Teflon tape but a tube of Leak Lock is handy to have around.

For 15-20 psi and the intended use you're overthinking this. Teflon tape or any pipe dope will seal it at that low pressure.

Leak lock takes a set and will be difficult to remove if the need should arise.
We use liquid Teflon sealant and it does not set up and allows for removal.
Chesterton, permeated, etc all make a very similar product. It can come in a small can with a brisk on the end or sometimes it comes in a tube like toothpaste. It is a white liquid Teflon sealant.

Another concern is that there isn't much material (wall thickness) of the tank. Ideally I'd like to have more wall thickness for a better mechanical connection as well as a better sealing connection.

Version 1.0 is completed. I used teflon tape and it appears that the pressure is holding....
