Hello all. I am going to put some swivel casters on the power unit of my QuickJack 5000 and was wondering if anyone had done it already and can share some recommendations.
I measured the hole size and it is right at 1/4" (~6.36mm) and I cannot seem to find any thread stem casters that don't look like office chair casters.
Example:https://www.amazon.com/Twin-Wheel-Caster-Solutions-TWHN-50N-T03-BK/dp/B00JRYIW14/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1544381935&sr=8-10&keywords=threaded+stem+caster
I'm looking for something more along the lines of an industrial caster like this:

I did find one called the Mighty-Mite made by Shepard, but it seems unavailable. Most of the rest I see are really tall. I only need the unit to be a total of a couple inches off of the ground but most casters will raise it 3+ inches total. I did find one caster that seems lower but the stem size different. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Richelieu-Hardware-1-9-16-in-Light-Grey-Swivel-with-Brake-Threaded-Stem-Caster-77-2-lb-Load-Rating-815110611/301453558
Would it just be better to drill out the hole to 3/8" (M8?) and use some more readily available stem casters?
