After the roof goes on there is very little weather wise to slow you down. Once the HVAC system is up and running all the trades will be flocking in to finish up. From what I can see you will be a very happy camper.

We are pretty close to having the HVAC system up now. The permanent service needs to be hooked up to the power pole and my electrician needs to install the AC compressor disconnect so the HVAC guy can install and charge the compressor...then we can fire that up

Ratman....if you don't mind me asking, if you are wheelchair bound, what size door openings do you have in the house and what width are your hallways?

The reason I ask is that my wife and I were discussing this very same thing last evening and I mentioned that all houses being built should be handicap accessible just for the fact that someone in a wheelchair is limited on houses to buy unless they are custom built.

Personally I would like to see all new houses built with 4' doorways and at least a 4' hallway.

Hallways are 4' wide with 3'0" doors throughout. Some doors are pocket doors.
