I don't usually post replies in the comment sections but for this I feel I need to chime in. I use to do heating and air work, amd in that trade your always using tin snips, to a point that everyone carries a variety of left hand right hand or straight cut. I personally always carried the offset variety because it gave more hand room while cutting long pieces of sheet metal and were easier to cut circles with. With all of this said, I have used Lenox and loved them but they do not cut as cleanly when cutting a small hole (something around 4" or smaller) and I have used wiss as well, the wiss brand I feel are more home use and beginner snips that tend to bend and break the jaws more than anything else. I have also used and primarily carried Midwest brand snips. The Midwest I loved and they were the brand used by most commercial havoc guys and they always stood up to the abuse we gave them and we never had any problems out of them.
On a side note. Midwest does not offer a life time guareente on their tin snips, however buying as many as I have in the past I checked out craftsman brand and they are made by Midwest and Carrie a lifetime warranty on them. When I say made by Midwest I use to have a set that was bought new at sears in a craftsman box that was stamped Midwest on the snips instead if craftsman.
In shirt go with the Midwest or craftsman I think you will be a lot happier with them.
