I want I tire machine for my home garage but I have a cheap compersor 40 gallon tank 160 psi 8 cfm will it work

What are the requirements for the tire machine? The type you buy can vary greatly. The one I use at work only uses air for the wheel clamp down and airing up the tire, everything else is driven by an electric hydraulic pump. You could probably run it with a portable 12V cigar lighter compressor...

The one I have at my school would. They use a surprisingly little amount of air. The rim clamp is air cylinders and the bead breaker is an air cylinder but neither require a lot of air instantly. The turntable is electric. The bead blast seating function does use a lot of air but the machine has a built in reservoir behind the main post that stores air for that.
