Has anybody got one yet? My dealer said he should have them in acouple weeks. I have my name on one. Just wondering if they felt spongy? Due to the 9" handle.

it is made by snap on.

i think the price was/is $79

its just a 1/4 drive ratchet that may be handy in tight spots.

I'm not really getting the point of a 9" long 1/4 drive ratchet? Seems to me if you needed something that big then you might as well jump up to a 3/8" drive?

I suspect somewhere there is a demand/Need for Long 1/4" drive Ratchets, I Own/Owned the Cornwell/Matco/Ezred and cant say i ever encountered that need. The Matco with Comfort grip is 9" long also..

I use my MATCO 88 long ratchet 1/4" drive to replace the starters in the old Chevy van/School bus on the job. I used it to replace 4 starters. Only the MATCO wobble extention broke. When replaceing batteries in School busses and MCI coaches, it's nice to have a long 1/4" drive ratchet. I do not like my ratchets with a comfort grip handle except the long 1/4" drive ratchets I use.

Until the Matco truck stops driving right past my shop every week, this means nothing to me...

ah ok...not sure why but I was thinking it had a comfort grip handle but I guess that would make it a THLL72. then again, that would look like a longer THL72. forget that I asked :lol_hitti

I'd be willing to bet they will eventually offer it, in comfort grip. :dunno:

Do any of you guys have a link to the September flyer with the TLL72 in it? I can't find it anywhere on SO's site.

Anyone who has ever done a waterpump or timing chain/belt on this current wave of compact SUVs with less than an inch of clearance between the front of the engine and the body will see the advantage of a super long 1/4" ratchet. Think reach and access, not leverage.

Release of the TLL72 was delayed. This is one of those cases where marketing got ahead of production. I have not heard of what date that the TLL72 is supposed to be available.

The reason why I ask about the usa stamp .....Is because I have one ordered and my dealer tell me that take 3 weeks to get it ...but I am not a 100 yet because of the usa issue ane what I do is body works so not finding the reason why should I get it yet

These are reasons that if im working on a friends car and i have 3 or so ratchets out, they ask me if i really need all those, and the answer is yes. Because you need long handles and flex heads to get into places. you just dont have the access into some places with a standard length ratchet.
