I spotted a guy dumping a bucket of some scrap hardware at work today and I checked out what he dumped after he left and this is what I came upon. It was a little rusty, but a trip to the garage at work and a little wire wheel action at lunch...
a nice little Blue Point xs-1416 7/16 and 1/2 short offset box end wrench. Made in U.S.A. and a stylized "E" are on the reverse. A little research from Alloy Artifacts on date codes and they list the "E" as being 1944. Very cool indeed.
I also picked up a Stanley 7/16 nut driver with U.S.A and the number 66-514. I haven't been able to find much on this yet.
