I like the Superrench. For some reason, I don't like the smooth-all-over SO, and prefer the no-nonsense design of the Williams. But then, I'm not a "auto mechanic", I work on heavy equipment and my own autos.
Me too. I got an almost set at an estate sale and really like them. I like the thin shaft, and the pebble finish.
I don't really wrench, but fix up old machines (so SAE for me).
I've got some Thorsen that are too thick to fit in my organizer slots! (and the chrome is pealing.) And some heavier Proto for when something needs breaking loose.
I'll admit that with clean hands, the smooth shiny wrenches feel good, but the only time that happens is when you make the buying decision! Even the texture and edges of the RP Craftsman make them easier to hold than the smooth ones.
