I picked up 3 Williams Superrench wrenchs, an S-K wrench, a 3/8" drive Matco 6" extension, and a Snap on FX36 extension. $51 and the Snap on extension is brand new condition.

Hey BigTJ, always nice to get something you need cheap. It can't always be free!

Are you interested in selling or trading the super wrenches? I have a couple of gaps in smaller sizes I'm trying to fill. Mostly anything under 1/2 inch might work (without going to the garage to check- it's over 100 deg in there.)

I like the Superrench. For some reason, I don't like the smooth-all-over SO, and prefer the no-nonsense design of the Williams. But then, I'm not a "auto mechanic", I work on heavy equipment and my own autos.

Me too. I got an almost set at an estate sale and really like them. I like the thin shaft, and the pebble finish.

I don't really wrench, but fix up old machines (so SAE for me).

I've got some Thorsen that are too thick to fit in my organizer slots! (and the chrome is pealing.) And some heavier Proto for when something needs breaking loose.

I'll admit that with clean hands, the smooth shiny wrenches feel good, but the only time that happens is when you make the buying decision! Even the texture and edges of the RP Craftsman make them easier to hold than the smooth ones.

(just my preference. Thankfully we have choices and can buy what appeals to each of us!)

I trying to get a whole set myself, its been a slow process of getting the few I got. I also like them for general wrenchin because of feel and im able to grip the wrench when my hands are greasy.
