I'm at a real dilemma here. I'm in the middle of rearranging my house and I got a bunch of computer parts, various electronic gear and various knick knacks that just can't be organized in a traditional chest of drawers. Sure, traditional chest of drawers have the volume, as in, drawers are much taller, but it makes for few drawers stuffed with a bunch of little things. It's hard to organize and find stuff. I need a lot of smaller drawers instead of just a few large drawers.
So, I have decided to bring an old tool box that i bought at Costco several years ago into the house. It's one of those 27" CSPS Stainless Steel tool box that's really pretty, but it has no place in a workshop. The drawers aren't really designed to hold more than a few screw drivers, it's been used to hold my small collection of end mills and various cutters. I've decided to clean it up and bring it into the house (my study/computer room) to hold my computer parts.
Has anyone else done this?
disclosure: before you bring up SWOMBO... I ain't got one.
