BS. Show me a link to a federal, state, or local ordinance law regarding the sale or transfer of ownership of Rolex watches...
Because we don't need more government involvement in our lives.self regulated market.
I still don't see any valid reason why not... we should have a notarized proof of ownership that is backed up by the state on anything of value...
I'm guessing this is what it's all about for you.good revenue generator for the state,
Why? So they can come get them some day?guns should be one of the first things that get a title slapped on them.

It seems alot more people do than we admit.
Then have all the gas taxes and vehicle taxes and registration fees going to the roads specifically. Schools ARE well funded. The money is poorly spent and too much is lost in the bearucracy.I want my roads fixed and I want my kids to have well funded schools.
IF you can't read teh sarcasm in my previous comments, i'm sorry.
Hard to tell........still not sure.

If you guys haven't figured things out yet, the "titles" you have to ATV's, boats, campers, trailers, cars, trucks and property has nothing to do with who "own's" them, who has a lein on them or to be able to sell them. The only purpose for a title is that it allows a government agency to know where it is and to be able to TAX the item.
That's it, Taxes, nothing more and nothing less.
snip.
Of course you are right.
The ONLY purpose of a title is to tax and regulate it.
People were buying and selling houses, land, horses, even motor vehicles quite nicely, including liens, financing, etc. before each of these things was 'titled'
Just imagine the additional cost of a tool box if the DMV could get its fingers in that pie...
Big loser, every consumer, big winner, government agencies.
Resale value drops like a stone, new prices shoot through the ceiling, or heaven for pro government people.
Wanting and needing are two different things.
Then have all the gas taxes and vehicle taxes and registration fees going to the roads specifically. Schools ARE well funded. The money is poorly spent and too much is lost in the bearucracy.
Apology accepted.Hard to tell........still not sure.

If we didn't have titles anybody could walk up and tow off your vehicles and claim ownership. land has had deeds since the white man took it over from the native Americans. The native Americans didn't have deeds and you see what happened to them.
Um, you should read/study some non-PC corrected history.
None of what you said is true, just popular to say.
You might also find out what a Deed is, what the piece of paper means, what the difference between legal and lawful is.
But it is much easier to just rattle off PC bumper sticker responses, isn't it?
By the way, the world oddly, didn't start 200 years ago.
Simple fact, non-PC, thus not taught.
Ownership has nothing to do with a deed, title, registration, etc.
Ownership is a factor of brute force. Period.
The guy doesn't take your car not because you have a piece of paper, but because a cop will shoot him, at least, in theory, if he take it.
Car registration and titles have zero to do with the law enforcing property rights (something that neither requires or involves registration) and is considered a TAX. Ask the federal and state governments.
If you pay a fee to a private registration company, it is not deductible as a Tax. DMV fees are.
Gee, why don't I just take your mailbox? You haven't registered it have you?
How about the freaking shirt off your back? Got a title? Or you lawn flamingos?
Or heck, I'll just drive into the local auto shop and just roll away the tool boxes. They aren't registered with the DMV, thus nobody owns them...
Or how silly can you get.
Maybe wives should too.

Schools are well funded my ***..........Maybe in the nicer neighborhoods. But just this year virtually all the poor ghetto schools were shut down in the Kansas City area. Forcing these kids to goto schools in other neighborhoods. This created much more gang violence and crime. I'll bet you'd like your kids to be stuck in this kind of situation. Who wouldn't? Does it even really need to be mentioned that these kids were being shat on by these school districts well before any of this happened? For these schools the typical graduation rate is 30-40 %. Well funded indeed. Sure mismanaged funds and BS politics plays a role to some extent, but there is no excuse for this garbage.
I can't imagine what it's like up in the ******** of America, Detroit.
How about guns too, they get stolen all the time.![]()
LOL so only 30% of kids graduate and that is the schools fault because the kids show up high, dont pay attention or dont show up at all? riiiiight
FIX: THROW MORE MONEY AT IT LOLOLOLOL
Yeah lets blame all poor education on the students. There are some smart kids out there ready to learn but can't because of fear of being shot, they are cold, piss poor teachers, etc. You can't expect any more out of a child than what you put into them. You can put almost any child in a good enviroment with good teachers and they will do well. That takes money.LOL so only 30% of kids graduate and that is the schools fault because the kids show up high, dont pay attention or dont show up at all? riiiiight
FIX: THROW MORE MONEY AT IT LOLOLOLOL
Forcing them to go to school in better neighborhoods?Forcing these kids to goto schools in other neighborhoods.
Blame that on bad parenting. If you don't care about your childs education, they will do poorly no matter where they go. Urban areas are notorious for certain groups of people that are bad parents and don't care. Dad not around, etc.For these schools the typical graduation rate is 30-40 %.
Black communities where crime and gangs run rampant? These people run out all the good productive citizens leaving little tax base to support schools.I can't imagine what it's like up in the ******** of America, Detroit.

Hell I started the thread and forgot what it was about. I was busy doing a photoshoot

Photoshoot?
You.. were kidding about the manboob threat, right?
......Right?

.....................noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
self regulated market.
Means absolutely nothing.
DOJ already does, the little number on the gun is called a serial number, and if you legally bought the gun then DOJ has it on record.![]()
You must live in one of the communist states. Down here we don't register guns unless they are fully automatic (true class III weapon) or a AOW firearm. The ATF knows the dealer the weapon was sold to and can track that first buyer thru the form but after that? Good luck....
Really? maybe to outsiders.
It's the same idea of not having any outside governing intervention or regulation of a market, when it is perfectly capable of cycling and self regulating through trends and internal influence and whatnot...which as i have read, is exactly what the majority of people in this thread advocate.
If you are in the market for a real rolex at a real-life price, you'll know what/where/who... if you are looking for a rolex for $50, then it's your own fault...
I don't know about other parts of the country, but you would be shocked at the amount of waste in schools here in Nj.
Not every problem can be fixed simply by throwing more money at it.
I'm sure there are some badly underfunded schools out there, but many of them would do better simply by firing all the un-needed, overpayed, employees, must of whom, are not teachers.
....Wait, what was this topic supposed to be about again?
Oh ok, no I don't think tool boxes should be registered.
But then, I would never drop 20 grand on one either.
too many people have been drinking the red kool-aid
