Is this the guy that has a ****-ton of distributor wrenches?
Nope, you’re not crazy. He said that he had a bunch of Icon stuff and didn’t get into Snappy until ‘23 I think. Probably fell down the same rabbit hole as a lot of us…you get your hands on one great tool and then your old stuff is never going to feel the same. His first sockets were Icon? WTF. Isn't that like 5-10 yrs old max or am I just out of the loop...

That would be a full time job with his collection.Oh man that looks like a sweet collection but I cant imagine having to polish and exercise all those ratchets each morning. I hope he has a tool butler.
He needs a full time crew just to keep them polished.

He mentioned the family business that his father started and his brother now manages.I know nurse anesthetists can make close to $250K a year if they are experienced, but he has to have some other business interests/inheritance to afford the tools, cars, other property mentioned in the video, etc. I wonder how he finds the time to buy all of that in such a short time, work on the vehicles, and work? He must be a human dynamo!
Really cool that he uses the tools and also admits that he also collects them.
I would argue that even for a professional mechanic, not taking the time to keep his tools clean can cost him money in the long run.He explained his work process in one part of it. He uses a cart to hold the tools he is using on a project, then he keeps there in that cart until he can clean them and put them away. He wipes each tool down with the Snap On tool wipes before putting them away to help prevent rust in the Florida humidity. I'll probably steal that process when I move back to Iowa in a few years. I like keeping my stuff nice also. Since I am not a professional, it isn't "costing me money" to clean things up when I put them away.
