For lack of a more informal venue, I'll ask here. What does your screen name mean?

I am "Knotgoalie". You have to be fast when a 3hp cabinet saw delivers a slapshot!;) Your story?:rolleyes:

I'm glad for any opportunity to explain mine, because I think it comes off a little A-hole-ish. It's simply a reminder to myself to persevere when projects get tough. Many times I've been near to giving up on a project when faced with a challenge, then admonished myself to keep at it and figure it out, and find that I was very near the solution.

I stopped by GJ to have a look, wanted to ask a question and slammed my initials into the name of the forum so I would not forget and I ended up hanging around. Not real clever but it works.

I used to be on a forum which didn't have registration, anyone could post under any user name, entered at the time of posting. It became apparent that there was one poster who would use multiple aliases to mess with people. Right before I was ready to start being a presence on that board, he started posting as The Tutor, and being even more obnoxious.

I wondered if I could defuse him by competing for territory by user name. Thus was born Two Door.

alwaysFlOoReD;
I wanted a moniker that mirrored my aspirations, and most of my vehicles are FORD, and I once saw a truck tailgate that had been....updated [I thought it funny]. Of course there is another not so nice connotation that could be applied in certain circumstances, lol.

Fink was my fathers nickname based on our last name... I was sometimes known as finky or little fink and I drive a 98 and was born in 1988 so the numbers work.

It simple and easy to remember.

I drive Fords and growing up in the 90's my favorite Nascar driver was Mark Martin when he was driving the 6 car for Jack Roush. When I first signed up for AOL, I tried to use two D's but it was taken.

Initial and name my father gave me.

Something I wonder about every time I visit is the identity of the female avitars used here. They are so distracting.......and dream provoking.

I have no idea what my screen name means. I keep seeing it everywhere; it's on my bills, my paycheck and even my driver's license. But it's a big mystery to me.

Well ya learned me something today, thanks. I've always associated Crew Chief with the lead mechanic on an aircraft, either in the military or the aerial firefighting industry. Had no clue it was a motorsports term also, interesting.

My username is a reference to a professional hockey player whose style I admired and try to emulate.
