I've got a scribe-like tool that was originally purchased by my grandfather when he was repairing clocks as a hobby. I'd like to find another blade for it, and I haven't had success searching online. The closest I've been able to find are hand tools called "triangular scrapers" but they've got wooden handles don't have replaceable points.

I'd like to make a handle and a tip cover, but I'd rather not invest the design time if I can't get another tip long term.

Might want to check exacto. I have some older blades for their handles. I would call that a fluted carving blade for models.

I filed off the burr today with a *******, then a 2 cut, then a diamond 120-140 grit. It's fine for right now but I can do better. I've been using it as a scribe for a few years

Yup, just a 3 sided scraper.... Sit in the drawer with all other deburr-ers.

My 3 sided ones are larger, but same thing.... Great for knocking down sharp edges after a piece comes off the milling machine etc.

He was probably using it to deburr holes drilled for over-size bushings. When you rebuild those clocks you have to do a lot of that. My Grandfather was also into that and left me a lot of them.
