Looks nice. Shipping weight is 832#. Serious weight there. That's a Taco Cart, I own the SO version.

I own the larger box, about two years now. Not a pro, and don’t move mine around, but the detents are pretty nice once you get used to them. The box itself is a heckuva lot of bang for the buck IMO

On rough floors the detent drawers could open but simply use the lock .
You could look at truck brand used before committing to elite .

I've looked at that box 100 times. It looks very nice. If you want a new tool box, I'd say yes.

For $500 more you can get a good used Snap On KRL722 or 1022. I'm trying to order a custom Snap On roll cart. If I can't, the elite may be on the short list.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I like this box layout and It’s my number one choice at the moment. I still have another month before I need to buy one.

I asked a couple guys at work their opinion and I got hit with an unreal amount of backlash from the “snap on activists” as I like to call them. People passing by even joined in about how I need to just buy a snap on haha

I like the extreme version but it only has 2 full length drawers

I *LOVE* my 72" x 30" Tool Vault, but, quite honestly, after living with it for 4-5 years now, I gotta be honest, I almost wish I would have bought two of these boxes instead - it'd be great having a double drawer layout like this.

When you say “these boxes” do you mean the tool vault 55x30 or did you forget to add a link?

I went 2 56'' boxes over going a 72" and so glad i did, drawer layout, extra capacity and potential low cost of upgrade makes it a great option.
Also far more easy handle two 56" boxes over 72" ...

I went used matco .
If going TV i would get heaviest one they do if rolling it a lot, biggest problem with average boxes is metal fatigue from rolling and poor joint design and minimal spot welds .
Rolling a well loaded box is what separates the top tier boxes .

I have the 56" ToolVault and have 3 or 4 years on it, don't recall right off. I am not a pro' mechanic, but I am using the box virtually every day. It is full of tools, so weighs quite a bit. So far, zero issues and it is just as good as the day it arrived on the truck. I have seen no degradation from use.

My airplane mechanic buddy has SnapOn that must be 7 ft. long. His box is, of course, higher quality, but he has thousands in it. I do really like his, but mine is perfectly fine for constant use even if not in a more brutal shop environment.
