I had some questions on the tool vault line of boxes. Does any one know how these are holding up in a shop environment? Need to replace mine and not really feeling it on spending 6 grand and up on a boxes. I've read some of the post on here on these and other brands from strickly toolbox. Just wanting to get some more insight. Thanks

well I just got my 72" Lime Green ToolVault box and so far it is pretty damn sturdy, fully loaded and drawers roll out smooth, no bad welds or blemishes, need a lot more time with it but I feel completely confident in it lasting a long time, was/is best box I have bought and way way cheaper than Mac/Snap-On/Matco

Yeah really haven't seen any long term info on them. I thinking of getting one just hope it holds up in a shop.

I have the 72" with a hutch now for a couple of months and have it loaded almost completely. I don't roll it much around the shop as I have a certain work area but it is holding the weight very well. I got my from strictly toolboxes, as they have a rep on the board. Send a pm to Global72 and they will take care of you. They have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I need to get an updated pic of my box, but here is one.

My 56" Tool Vault is holding up great after a year and a half, loaded up good with tools. No issues whatsoever and I'd buy another without question. Strictly Toolboxes folks are primo to deal with, too.

I believe that this is the Montezuma box with the stb house brand of tool vault on it. I have a 72" Montezuma and added many shallow drawers and for me this works great. I do not use this box professionally but I am very happy with it. Mine have the detents and they work great when just gently engaged. No need to fully close the drawer. I guess it helps that my box is somewhat level front to back otherwise that could create a disaster.

You would be correct. Montezuma went with a raise and release draw handle and dropped the detent style drawer. Strictlytoolboxes is having them still made by Montezuma and bagged Tool Vaught. They offer the stainless top where you have to buy it for the Montezuma. It's all on their website. Still good boxes.

I'm curious to know how well these toolboxes hold up in a professional environment where they get used constantly and are packed full of tools.

These toolboxes will hold up just fine in a professional use environment. You will not wear out one of the 72 inch boxes. I use mine everyday &love it!
