I ordered it from CTB.....

there goes 30 bucks. This better be the bestest wrench ever :D Free shipping! Not bad.. and it's certainly not 20 euros.

What next! What's the "gotta have it" tool of today? Maybe something Japanese...

Great tools, cliceu! I have the Hazet pieces and would love to have a set of those Stahls as well. My 600Ns have a tray that lays flat, wish I had that case that you do.

I was going to get one of those from Brightguy just hadn't got around to it... What do you think of the headband?

I a had the opportunity to play with this model, iirc the wired headband is patented by Petlz. It's also more stronger than it looks on pics:thumbup:

@mrtools : Nice Merry pliers, typical Japanese yellow colored handles.

I have several petzl headlamps; I would stick with the conventional elastic headband. The string is to save a few grams on the weight- this doesn't matter unless you're an ultralight backpacking nut that wants to brag how much their backpack weighs.

He has a tool store in Spain if I remember correctly. And yes, it seems the order from KS-tools to Rotar Group did include: extra chrome plating. But I could be wrong. :headscrat

@AutomatiquE:
- Nice grinder and tape.

@american lockpicker:

The regular elastic band is probably more confortable, but the steel string is an interresting feature too, not only because of the light weight but rather more for the unusual system itself.

Stabila. It has a ergonomic rubber coated housing, it feels good in my hands and the switch works easy. The Facom looks similar but no rubber coating and i have a yellow Stanley too which looks like the Stabila, but the Stabila switch works easier. So i take mostly the Stabila, sometimes (for inside measurements) i take the red BMI tape. The blue tape is at home , the big one is too big and the brown Stanley one i only own because i wanted to own a french made tape too :)

uh oh.. with your amount of tools it will be a high tools bill :) Hopefully your company don´t go out of business because of your tool bills :( :D

Sola = :thumbup:

good Aldi stuff :D

2 different tools for different purposes....
Don´t you have a regular 2 speed drill from Bosch already ? With "Multi Construction" drill bits you can drill into stone even without hammer mode. SDS-Plus drill for concrete etc. So if you want to drill into concrete or chisel some tiles away get the SDS Plus drill, if you only drill into metal, wood, stone then the 19-2 or none at all if you already have a regular drill.

Is that your most used wrench?

13mm combi wrenches ? 29 ... :) if i borrow my fathers then 31 :thumbup:
But i only use 3 of them (Hazet combi, Gedore ratcheting combi + Facom speed wrench combi), the rest is just for the collection :)
But don´t worry - more to come :D The most used wrenches are probably the 13, 15, 17 and 19mm sizes.

Thanks Jeff and Monte, I have never seen this before from BETA. The ratchets, the blow mold case, selection of tools, the black 1/4" handle - is just soooooooo similar to what has been coming from Taiwan in the last several years it is hard to miss the resemblance.

I am not sure what is the right thing to do, but I am inclined to stop buying BETA from now on. It is a shame, they make some excellent tools - i.e. circlip pliers. If I want decent Taiwan tools there is a shop in my town that sells Toptul. And the price is fine.

PS: I am guessing this is Taiwan but this could be from the mainland as well. With no transparency - who knows.

Hi guys! Today was my lucky day. It did't seem so at the beginning - the first thing I did this morning was that I scratched my glasses when they hit the ground. So I went to Bauhaus for some material and I saw there and bought this Sora set too. It was in sale because of one missing screwdriver, and it cost 159kč (about 6Eur).

240720112436.jpg

After Bauhaus bauhausing, I had some free time, so I took a look of our city flea market. I bought there set of LSR Tools micro-screwdrivers, VDE stamped, for 4Eur...

and I decided to go home, but suddenly I saw...

(MOMENT OF SURPRISE)

This thing for 1,50Eur (One Euro and Fifty Cents) :bounce::bounce::bounce:

So I bought it :) I did some net search about it :) I am scared of using it not to damage it in any way, because it's totally new-in-box :headscrat

Nice pencil!!!

Same for me. I had to go all over 2 states to get parts for the John Deere but managed to find some interesting items and there was a cute girl who called me hun and helped me get parts at Bridgeport(Bosch dealer). :) As the blades weren't in stock I needed to go 2 counties over to the other shop and noticed an out of the way Ace hardware where I found the Gardena nozzle and Fiskars sharpener. :) Also found the other items at Walmart(better for tools than Aldi...) :bounce:

Interesting to see that in 2010 Stanley was pointing out one of their products is made in England(I hope thats a trend.) Also I seen some new old stock Makita powertools that were USA assembled at that Ace how old is too old(colour was the older teal)? I really like this Gardena nozzle compares to my old USA one(my sister threw it away accidently) its lighter and better designed.

Let me know how that Fiskars sharpener works out for you. I was going to buy one of their axes (Also made in Finland) but I was a little leery of buying it and the sharpener, around $35 for both. Eh.
