New Hazet combination set and thin open end set
Still need to get a 30mm and 32mm
Made in Germany

wow great HZ collection !!!!

I just got back from a business trip and had a ton of tools waiting for me.

:pimpflash:thumbup:

Yes!!! For Christmas... :)

:rocker::bowdown: nice !!!!

Now for some random pics. :)

Almost looks like you live in europe :)

Whats this??? A Swiss made drill bit with a Harbor Freight brand??? Found it at the flea market and it was too interesting not to get. I'm hoping because its Swiss made its not complete junk.

CP belongs to Atlas Copco

I also bought a set of Stahlwille box end wrenches.

:rocker::bowdown::3gears:

Do they make them for Gedore? I had a set of three Gedore ones, identical. Now a set of two, i had a strop once, hit the floor with the hammer and broke the head clean off! I went from very angry to laughing my *** off in an instant!

could be :)
Don´t hammer too hard :D

Nice hammer Monte:bowdown: simple and honest design, i like it:beer:

me too :)

Witte mini drivers.

sweet drivers !

I know this exact screwdriver has been posted before but i just got this one in the mail today from Amazon and I have to say, I'm impressed.

nice !!! Hopefully Santa has one for me too :)

I must admit I was a little skeptical about buying more Wera tools after the "Wera warranty *****" thread but I figure for what I paid for it, it was worth the risk.

You dont have too be so worried about that thread, if wera had a problem with their handles, it would be more pic of them here.
So something must have happend with that handle. My guess is that it came to close to a heat sorce or something like that.:flamethro

Try "Niederegger" marzipan - the best in the world :)

Also when I was in there all the Bosch tools were marked up and Knipex had a 5-10 USD price increase. :(

quality cost money :) Also the swiss francs are high and since many Bosch products are swiss made or are brought back from "Made in China" to "Made in Switzerland" (circular saws) it cost $$$ ...

The circular saw is Swiss made??? I must have one. :) Link please. :) It used to be made in USA before I started buying Bosch. I noticed the USA COO on a display box at Fastenal back when I got my grinder there. :)

I noticed that they outsourced production of Zeiss cleaner to China recently so I picked up a few NOS bottles. I really can't see how they can save money shipping this from overseas as opposed to making it in Ohio.

Nightmasks,
Might be a little off subject But swiss made drafting tools such as dividers calipers(mechanical not dial or electronic) inking tools compasses etc. try "Kern" the finest made might have Calipers. Had a friend with a complete boxed set ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Lusted for a set forever and couldn't find them. On the computer now, don't hand draft much any more

I searched for a post superautobacs made about some French made punches so I could quote it but couldn't find it due to the nearly 8500 posts in this thread... Anyways Lee Valley has free shipping at the moment so I placed a good sized order. :)
You might find it is post 1282, but don't quote me on that. ;)

Edit: oops, looong since been beaten to that one... lol

I like the look of the NWS pliers a lot and I've heard great things about them but personally speaking I prefer the older handle style. There's something about that particular light grey colored plastic part of the handle that makes me feel kind of sick :)
I have to agree here, I much prefer the old style handles to the newer style, and given the option, would go for the old one - the pattern and grey does nothing for me at all. I know they are merely tools and that appearance isn't really that important to their function, but then if that was really for the case for NWS, why introduce this (horrible) new colour scheme in the first place?! I dunno...

Very cool, I love Barber. I have been several times and have Barber tags on both pcars. Is that also a Facom cantilever box on the ground in front of the Assistent?

Harry Epstein is becoming quite the European tool and knife dealer. I can't say enough good things about them. Great service, unique selection and really great prices on tools.

I was in Kansas City today and stopped by HE. I picked up this French-made knife for $9.50. It is marked "Made in France" on the collar.

The Opinel knife is simple, but well built. It has a unique locking mechanism built into the collar. Basically, you can twist the collar to lock or unlock the blade.

This is the locked-and-closed position.

The Opinel knife will join my Swedish knife also purchased from HE.
