beautiful. where did you found that?

sadly, the situations in need for a 1" ratchet set are very limited.

@monte: good moment to show these boxes. bought two alutec boxes last week, too. they feel really solid, better than ordinary boxes. where did you bought them? Bauhaus?

did you try to call them ...?

Stahlwille Australia don't have a contact number for some reason, just an email address. :dunno:
I looked through their online catalogue and can't find it either, so I might have to replace it with something else.

sweet !:pimpflash
btw. how do you like your Gedore F-clamps ?

I like them. But there the only ones i have so i can't make an honest comparison with other brands. Every year they appear in the Gedore Magic brochure for a decent price.

Here's my addition (for now). An old pair of Globemaster tongue and groove pliers that I cleaned up. The finish was very "pebbly"m and the jaws did not slide very well. I thought they might be worth a little work after I saw "Forget in Italy" so I started sanding with the belt sander. They turned out nice for a little pair of house box pliers.

Gražvydas,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting pictures of your tools! I am especially drooling over the above picture of your side cutters.

Have you used much the Wiha BiCut Professional (Z 18 0 05) pliers? If yes, have you ran anything that it cannot cut?

Thanks,

Dave

I don't understand why the manual says to lubricate the axle (9106200) monthly and if i not i risk long holes in the pump.
I have to lubricate the axle external or something else?

they do sell empty cases, but i guess no individual handles.

By coo you mean manufactured in? Nope there's nothing on the tool.

Very Nice! The head looks so small and compact (for a 1" dr.). How many teeth? We want more photos when you break it out of the plastic. ;)

It has 72 teeth. I compared the head with a 3/4 head from Belzer. It is just a little bit longer.

It is a monster compared to my 1/4 ratchet

Got a shipment from Amazon.de today. My first Hazet! This is kit 986/13. 1/2" hex set 5mm-19mm.

I'm thoroughly impressed with the finish quality. They're impeccable.

Even the storage case is nice, with metal hinges. Not sure what this kick stand is for, but it's neat!

Is there a reason why the German promo never mentions prices? With the Gedore Magic promo it's the same.

The Dutch version Hazet special worldwide ( 2015 not yet available) does mention prices.
http://www.vanmierlobv.nl/hazet-special-wordwide-2014-2015/

Dutch version Gedore magic 2014 again with prices.

These brochures can be downloaded worldwide. The manufacturers would not print their prices because of (import-/custom-) taxes.

So they could not keep up or guarantee their prices around the world.

Even in Europe the prices are different. The dealers have to order some lot of tools and have to pay shipping costs, have stock costs, staff, etc.

So many dealers do own brochures with their calculated prices.

I can send you the price list in Euro. You would just need to add shipping and import duties to your country.

I believe this is in fact meant to be the base in original design, if you remove the simple foam you have a 'parts storage tray' for whilst working on your job

Photo%20Mar%2004%2C%206%2016%2041%20PM.jpg

Therefore this insert is upside down, as the Black section down as a parts tray the blue section stays upwards with the help of the kick-stand so that it faces the user

Even the storage case is nice, with metal hinges. Not sure what this kick stand is for, but it's neat!

Photo%20Mar%2004%2C%206%2021%2018%20PM.jpg

Imagine dropping the black section down in this pic, so you had a parts tray nearest to you and the reversed insert then reads the right way up and your tools care you ready for action :)

Personally I would like to fit a second insert into the Black section???? is that poissible or would the tools clank a little together in the middle??

Either way congrats on a very sweet looking score :):rocker::rocker:

Hazet with all steel handles! Superb!

How come I havn't heard of these till now? Obviously need to spend more time on GJ!

Where did you source these. I've bought Hazet in the past from toolsfromgermany.com (good firm to deal with) but I havn't seen these on their site!

Quite new (1th of march) and they've started shipping already. I got them from a local dealer who got the first lot. Must be available elsewhere quite soon!

Or contact Jens Putzier, he might have some already...

my precisions sets:

Bahco_zpszhlvysck.jpg

The Bahco look interesting, slightly different to the norm, with the fatter finger grips

:bounce::bounce::bounce:

which are your favourite Precision Drivers m8 as you have a good selection??

I really like my cheap Pro's Kit set, and would hapily purchase again, but it was a few years ago and they seem to have changed slightly now :(

I'm not too keen on Facom in the hand, although they look a great set, I'm leaning heavily towards wera at the moment, but Wiha 51 piece set looks rather 'complete'..

tbh, it's not like everyday I'm using them therefor I really cannot tell how they feel in my hands. I only use them, in particularly PH00, for when I find interesting old analogue lenses and convert them so I can slap them on my digital SLR.

I just grabbed the closest one and I'm more focused on not screwing up the screws hehe... and so far every brand works well :D

So no, I don't really have a favourite one although my first 'precision' set is the Wiha 269 series. I used it regulary when I was into pc's and that's like 15 years ago?. It's still in good shape so I'm very happy with the quality.
The Bahco I purchased it 1 year ago so I can't tell how it will hold, but it sure gives you confidence when you're focused on what you're doing.

New but old paulcall tacklifter. The finish is very english

Dowidat pump pliers. The teeth look brand new, I think they've been sitting in a garage since new. I'll clean them up today and test them out, I've heard dowidat steel is amazing:
