Blue Point may have sold them, but they were/are also sold by Bahco; and I'd bet they were actually manufactured by Bahco. Here's the current iteration:

They were a Bahco product going back at least two decades or more.
I think they they may have been designed to compete with the Knipex Cobra pliers with the push button adjustment mechanism, since the Cobra pliers adjustment mechanism seems to have been patented in the late 1990s (1997?), and the Cobra pliers were getting decent distribution with industrial suppliers and rebranded for Sears’ Craftsman.
It looks like the expected expiration of the Knipex push button adjustment mechanism was in mid 2012.
Bahco had better general distribution in the early 2000s in the USA, from regular hardware stores from what I recall, and I think Snap-On, which bought Bahco in 1999 and (Eurotools in 1997), may have still been trying to figure out what to do with the Bahco brand.

Bosch's best corded jigsaw. "Assembled" in Hungary. My 40 year old Bosch jigsaw and 28 year old cordless Bosch drill were manufactured in Switzerland. Is Bosch currently manufacturing any power tools in Switzerland?

The Swiss made Bosch were superb tools.

They were built in the old Scintilla factory, who Bosch bought out. I think that factory is making exclusively blades now.

They’re very decent blades, but Scintilla invented the jigsaw, so with Bosch money behind them they should dominate the jigsaw world the same way Fein do with multi tools, but I’m not feeling that’s the case.

Best jigsaws right now are probably Mafell

The Swiss Bosch factory was in Solothurn, they are making blades now. I have not seen tools from them in years.

Edited to add: I think Bosch routinely moved power tool assembly and manufacturing around the world to their tax and corporate benefit.

I have seen Bosch tools marked: Made in USA, Made in Germany, Made in Swiss, Made in Mexico with Swiss Components, Made in Mexico with USA components, Made in Hungary, Made in Taiwan, Made in China, etc during the last 40 years.

It seems assembly was shifted from one area to the next to capitalize on ‘rule of origin’ rather than manufacturing prowess.

Hello,
I want to buy a mafel cordless drill but it has two models where the one is called impact (i think is hammer and not impact drill). A guy has told me that the simple drills have more precision on drilling holes than hammer drill but I am not sure that this assumption is right. If the hammer option on a drill has no impact on his functionality, then why companies make always two models where by the way the price is the same?

I have and still use a Swiss made Bosch 10.8 volt hex driver/screwdriver. They are called 12 volt max now but they are really 10.8 volt. This thing just keeps on screwing and drilling! I wish bosch still made their 10.8/12 volt cordless tools in Switzerland. I think my 90 degree/right angle 10.8 volt hex driver is also Swiss made. Its old too but not used as much. It has an electronic clutch in it instead of mechanical like most others.

The wrenches design reminds me of Stahlwille.
