Hey, is that blue selector switch on the Hazet 916SP ratchet plastic?

.You're correct, It's an Apex. I purchased it at a flea market for two bucks. I pretty much use it as a beater and it's lasted. I took this after I bought it:
That black/red Wera screwdriver is something that you probably don't have yet in your collection, I assume?.....I do believe it's a Apex rebranded one....saw it on Ebay some time ago.
seems to be... feels like bake-a-lite, pretty strong - I took a flathead to it trying to pry it up and see if it would bend - didn't budge and took a fair amount of force before I gave up and decided not to break it. I think the older version has a metal selector, but then I wouldn't have the pretty blue.
^ that is a pretty movement! you are a watch guy huh?
I know we've had a lot of hand tools posted lately. Since maybe some of you read this thread and not others (at least I don't see some of you post in other threads), would you mind posting photos or telling me what you've got if you have a German-made drill (cordless or wired).

Also the chuck is German(Rohm).
Here are some amazing Hazet new never used pliers that I aquired, I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Hazet 1897-11
Hazet 1855-33
Hazet 1889b-11
Say, is there any way to get a full set of Wiha 'Power Handle' (or similar) screwdrivers like those blue ones? I've got a single orange hard handle Wiha with a bolster, so they obviously used to build those.

I have an old (dad had it) Craftsman drill that looks exactly like that Kress - I'll have to look at COO now...
Some more German Goodies:
My new LTR cooling system pressure tester set. Many thanks to Monte for helping my find a supplier over here so i could buy exactly the one i wanted.![]()

And some more nice Stahlwille goodies too. They're like works of art. The fit and finish is unbeatable. When they lock into place there's no slop at all.
I just picked up a small collection of PB Swiss drivers for working on my motorcycle. The fasteners are mostly socket head cap screws, but all of the Phillips are JIS. Quite a painful realization when most of my screws were already stripped out in the heads. The ph drivers should fit them as they are DIN/ISO, but those bits down there next to the handle are actual JIS bits from Count on Tools clearance section.

...to complete the family of color coded "Wisent" screwdrivers![]()

So:
Yellow/red: VDE
Black/red: slotted
Black/yellow: philips
Black/green: torx
Black/blue: pozidriv
Black/gray: hex shaft

Monte...I'm holding you personally responsible for my addiction to European tools![]()
So, what did I do? Buy another tool of course!
Thor Rawhide Mallet. From the UK.
I will review it and hopefully have it posted on Tool Guyd.
@ Theloniousmonk Its a Brugger & Thomet TP9(civvy version of the MP9) also that Hazet screwdriver looks like its made by Schröder so if you shop around it might be cheaper.
Hehe, i think i'll try to restrict myself a bit buying stuff for a while.Should i get you one ??![]()
Oh, wow! Now i'm kinda disappointed that there isn't a McMeatball up here.lol haha
nooooo Lederhosen and kraut for me !! (yuck!!) I`m from the north and not bavariaAlso no beer but pretzel yes ! Bratwurst is ok too ! There is even a "McNürnburger" with "Nürnberger Bratwurst" sausage at McDonalds ! (1,79 €)

Ah, that i didn't thought of that. So are they a Bauhaus bargain? Or are you just expanding your collection?almost !![]()
Grey/Black is stainless steel (and hex shaft)
(available in PH 1 + 2 and PZ 1 + 2)
. The black change lever is metal. All my Hazet ratchets have the metal change lever. The new ones are supposed to be very sturdy and easy to change, but I am old fashioned.![]()

@ Moose: good stuff. That pressure tester kit looks hep. Or as cool as a pressure tester kit can lookAs for the Stahlwille, I'm getting some sockets and extensions soon. I need another set, and finally decided to consider putting Stahlwille to the test instead of SO. At least for the metric stuff. Why not. Cheaper in some cases (torx sockets), and perfect for my German car

nice Leitenberger set !!!!!!!!!![]()
Nice ! If you have the chance try out the Stahlwille locking extensions too.
ps: i thought your socketry is from Snap-On ?
your Matador door trim tool arrived

and a discoloration

What does that fit? that look identicle to the Land Rover Special Tools cooling system pressure tester. The Rover one ***** though, I just use my Snap On one usually.
My new Swiss Drill. Also the gun at the bottom is also Swiss.
A lot of the more expensive and complex stuff of Bosch is made in the old Scintilla factory in Switserland (up to the sixties also known for a lot of electric car parts and accessories).
Up to a few years ago they even stated on the serial plate Scintilla made in Switzerland.

Oh, wow! Now i'm kinda disappointed that there isn't a McMeatball up here.Though I must say it doesn't look that appetizing. I'm not picking on german food culture though, soon it's time for oktoberfest with beer, wurst and strudel!
And germans at least don't eat pickled fish (yuck)...
Ah, that i didn't thought of that. So are they a Bauhaus bargain? Or are you just expanding your collection?

Wow! Really nice! Thanks for sharing.
