I have to ask, what else are you using from Metabo?
Only corded products so far. (drill, sander).
On the cordless wishlist is a small vacuum and a cooling box...

It has gas struts, so you simply move the 2 orange levers on top to automatically extend the trays. It also comes with a handle so you can easily drive it around. So it seems to be "new and "improved".
Wheels made by Steinco in germany it seems (same as Hazet).
