Hi expatriated,

maybe i could help you.

Greetings from Germany
Michael

Yes, you can help us.

Open a store here in the States that stocks and ships Hazet for much less $ than the current Stateside Hazet retailers do. :bounce:

You will get a lot of business.

It is difficult to get Hazet here right now. Everything must be ordered. Sometimes it takes 6 weeks to get something.

Well you can get all Hazet parts from Germany delivered to your door in one week at prices well below the US dealers offers. I am shipping Hazet items to the USA and many other countries every week.

Get the US market some German made Hazet Assistent for under $1000 USD shipped. You will make a fortune.

You can get the 166N and 166C at less than 1.000 US$ from stock shipped to your door in one week.

The larger Assistents are more expensive and also more expensive to ship. I am currently packing up a 172HD for a customer.

Thanks Monte!!

I've been following this forum for some months now and it has been very beneficial.

I must post some pictures of my collection over the coming weeks and not long ago recieved my first Gedore/Hazet order from TBS Aachen which was mentioned on here. Good service and very reasonable delivery rates.

I'm mainly after screwdrivers, torx/hex spanners, felco secateurs, drill bit set, counter sinks, adjustable spanners, wire cutters, hammers, box spanners, chisels, files, pick set and some Karcher items.

Depending on what i see i may end up buying more :)

My wife is german so she will be coming with me but tools is not her thing and cant understand guys addiction with tools.

As we are only in Cologne for a short time i wanted to go to the best store where i could buy most of the things I wanted.

yeah post some pics from the TBS tools !
Honestly, if you want to buy all these tools you mentioned i wouldn´t buy them at a big box store, i would go to a professional tool store because you can get better tools at a better price if you buy all these tools at the same time (and store)

some stores in cologne for example:

Aug. Hülden GmbH + Co. KG
Weißhausstraße 7
50939 Köln

Lentz & Schmahl GmbH
Max-Planck-Str. 36
50858 Köln

Or at least check out one of these stores and a big box store.

Hello Monte

As a follow-up to svranjic question, what stores would you recommend for buying Hazet or Stahlwille? What is ruffly the price difference between an online shop and an ordinary store. The swedish krona is currently strong and one perhaps should buy more that just beer next time. Thank you for all work you put into this thread!

Online shops and Ebay usually are cheaper for the private user. You can often save about 20% compared to the retail price. I can recommend www.TBS-Aachen.de for example or you can try www.heisse-nuesse.de
for Hazet too. Stahlwille: www.fluidonline.de www.werkzeuggigant.com

After months of waiting the Stubai wrenches finally made it to the distributer and I paid for them today so they should be here in a few weeks. I doubt I'll ever get that HK rifle but at least I'm getting caught up on the tools I've wanted for the past few years. :)

nice !! Post some pics when you have them

btw: here some pics for you :D

Hi Monte, where do you get this pics? Are you a HAZET-Dealer in the USA? I am working for the advertising agency here in Germany who makes the pics. And you post the link to our webshop - many thanks.
I would ask you about making some HAZET-business in the USA. Do you mean the market is interesting? Here in the forum i saw some HAZET-tools-fans...

I would be glad to hear from you...

Michael
(heisse-nuesse)

Hallo Michael,
i got the pics from the Hazet.de online catalog. I´m from germany...
There are already a couple of Hazet dealers in the USA www.samstagsales.com www.asttool.com www.aetools.com www.europatools.net www.themotoringshop.com www.mdmetric.com
www.zdmak.com www.zelenda.com ...

What is missing (imho) is a good ebay.com and amazon.com Hazet store.

ps: what is the Hazet promo price of the "190-20" "Hazet Cockpit" (empty) ?

Looks a good quality one:thumbup: and look like Wiha brand:headscrat

No wonder that Aldi sells it cheaper, I've always believed that sells tools Irimo somewhat expensive, and more of these that are made in Taiwan ... but ...

Anyway.

Aldi sells what he buys directly from Taiwan.
Irimo sell to distributors who in turn sell these to the end customer.

It is normal that the product is more expensive

Indeed, not long ago Aldi bag promotion of a set of socket wrenches, was manufactured by Listol (taiwan) and they bought more than 30000uds!, I ask for that same socket wrenches to 500ud and the price they gave me was almost double the retail price it was selling at Aldi. :wtf:...
Aldi big, I small. The big eat the small...

*I have your Toptul wrenche here, anytime you give me your address so you sent it ...

why import, when you can buy it in the US :)
www.coolbeverage-usa.com

The OEM of the hose clamp pliers from C-Man, Mayhew, Astro etc. is "Gillet Outillage" (The ones "Made in France")

see post #1684

here a thread about hose clamp pliers:

Sometimes Irimo has good prices, like the socket sets which seems to be identical to Bahco - but slightly cheaper i think.

if this Irimo sander is the same than Snap-on (?) then Irimo has a very good price too :)

Thats right. Irimo is also a well known tool brand (at least in some parts of the world) and Aldi is not a well known tool brand so you can charge more for a brand name. That´s normal. Of course distribution cost money too.

The big eat the small...

yeah the amount makes a difference....
they also can live with a smaller profit, maybe 5 or 10% while a dealer needs 30 or 40% margin.

But as long as Aldi (or similar stores) dont offer hand tools or special (automotive etc.) tools all the time there always will be small special tool stores who offer tools of high quality and that all the time during the year and not only once a month...

Here are a few Hazet pieces I picked up this week. Used but in great condition.

I don't need too much SAE so luckily these 2 wrenches cover the common sizes.

I have some other nice looking SAE wrenches that might go in the classifieds here.

I think the price for the Hazet 166n is too much.

The problem to deliver to your contry is not the time - the shipping cost are one of the part that make HAZET tools expansive in the USA.

However, for all questions about HAZET tools i have an answer....

Got the Stubai wrenches today and they were missing the most important part the COO. :shocking: Luckily the importer will let me return them and get a refund if he can't find an Austrian marked set.

Other than that the wrenches seemed nice. The finish isn't like US tools more of a matte chrome.

Also I noticed this at 7-11. :D

Also I went to Sears today and had them hold the hose clamp pliers till tomorrow and I can order them by phone with my mother's Sears card and get 10% off. :)

Also I was at the flea market today and noticed some Will pliers marked "Western Germany" would that be late 19th or early 20th century or post WWII?
